Review Of Hotel sunrise

Ambiance is not good, old Hotel, not well maintained. Less parking spaces

Not anymore room service is good but not clean in room everyday

Good stay but they charged extra for 2 hour early check-in, which I haven't done for any of my previous stays anywhere.

Location and ample parking space is the only plus point. Room has enough space. The deluxe room allotted to us was not facing the valley view, it on opposite side facing the road. The cleanliness and facilities are average only. No glass in room, no soap provided, only one towel given for two guests. In the morning no one attended the phone for providing hot water in bathroom and for tea. Bathroom cleanliness is just average only. The taps were broken. Check-out is at 9 am, otherwise they charge extra, location and parking area is good. Staff behavior also good, polite.

Awesome I would say, just because of the location and sunrise view. Everyone of us enjoyed the stay, we woke up at 5 to watch the sunrise and it was a tremendous experience to see the sun come out of mountains and clouds, superb display of colors in nature.

I had stayed in this hotel years back. Now I feel the maintenance is a bit lagging, particularly room upholstery and bathroom fittings. Otherwise everything is fine. Had a good stay. Thanks to MakeMyTrip for the offer given.

Hotel room was normal but not bad, but house keeping was poor, reason toiletry fecility was poor. We are complaint to management but not response. No lift, so the old age persons is feeling not good. Resturent service was not good and food taste was not bad.

There was no restaurant. No chance to get even morning tea/coffee. Not even soap or towel provided in toilet. No room service at all. Location was good and good access to the town. Good view of sunrise. Not even a good tv in the room. There was no restaurant.

Booked a deluxe room, got one facing streets no fan, sticky&slimy floors Asked for a room with better view but they said it'll be charged 800 rs extra pros. Spacious room. 24/7 hot water. Walkble distance to coakers walk, other good restaurants & street vendors. Great view from parking place, unfortunately you can't board parking space. Cons. It could get very chill at nights, since air was coming inside from glass walls. Sticky & slimy floors. Unfriendly receptionist(old guy)

This hotel is just above average, rooms were spacious enough with hot water supply. Staff were friendly but the turn around time taken to respond to our service request was just average ., They've listed restaurant hot line but nothing is served inside the premise; just the order is taken and is brought from outside ., Refrain having tea or coffee cause it's expensive . They charge? 50 per cup.

The hotel is located at a place where you could see the entire city and the best thing is that you can see the sunrise from your balcony itself. The hotel staff is very friendly. This hotel has a nice parking place as well. Room service was good. The hotel is very near to the Kodai lake and Coakers walk. The town market is few hundred meters away. I stayed at this hotel with 6 of my friends and the stay was pleasant. Moreover, we got the rooms at a very reasonable price. Thanks to MMT.

Average hotel at reasonable price. But food are not good. Better to try outside restaurant. For sight seeing better to contact outside travel agencies, lot of agencies are there, otherwise one has to pay higher than normal rate unknowingly. Don't buy chocolates from the shop as per driver's choice. There are many good quality chocolate shops around the bus stand. Good stay at hotel except one day we found rat in the room during sleeping and all the toilet facet are broken or malfunctioning. One should be careful just after check-in.

Stayed with family for 2days. Rooms are spacious, neat and cleaned. Location is added advantage. It's near to many attraction which can be covered by walk. Hotel staff is very kind and ready to help. Value for money. Overall good experience to stay here. Hotel transpiration department also kind and give good deal to visit all the attractions in kodai.

The location was amazing with a panoramic view of the mountains covered in mist. The rooms with balcony were better I guess, although we did not have a booking for that. Food was also good, specially the breakfast items. Hospitality and facilities were also nice since they arranged for the car we rented for sight seeing.

The hotel is situated a bit far from the bus stand. So, you need to take a taxi from there which would cost around Rs150. We were a group of 4 bachelors, and the room we were allot ed was not good enough. No geyser, fan, No ashtray, no water. We really had to fight with the switch board for plugging our chargers. Food is not that good. What we witnessed there was that, It is good for couple / family, if looking for budget hotel. Staff are good. But, please be aware of the tour and travel broker. The hotel entertains them all and they would pull you in their nice deals which is higher than the market rate. Specially the 1st day, you check in. Overall feedback : Medium budget hotel

You get what you pay for! The room has a good bed, a TV, and is located close to the bus stop. You can get a very good view if you get a room with a balcony facing the valley. There is hot water in the morning; however, the water gets lukewarm by the afternoon, and there is only cold water by night. The room was cleaned every afternoon with the bed made up well. The bathroom drain was clogged when we checked in, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not functional, and there was a lot of mould in the ceiling of the bathroom. The restaurant was average; the breakfast was good and you can get food served to your room. There is a very limited option of rice and noodles for lunch, but the variety is more for dinner. The quality of food is average, and the price is reasonable in the restaurant. There is no WiFi except for in the reception area. The staff were very friendly; you get the tour agent contact you as soon as you check in trying to sell you a tour package. A three day tour in a car costs between 3000 INR to 5500 INR; you will be told to pay the tour guide an amount of your choice at the end of each days' tour if you wish. The driver/tour guide were extremely helpful and very good, and are probably the best asset of the hotel. Overall, the hotel is really average in terms of infrastructure and cleanliness, but if you are on a 'medium budget' trip and are willing to sacrifice some comforts, this place might be of interest to you.
