Cottage location is good, Room as compare to price is not valuable , balcony has a good vibes and nice view area, Lot of work needed in food department as quality wise and taste wise.

Hotel is overpriced for the quality and amenities it is offering and the staff also was not open for any concessions we were charged almost 10k per night but hotel is not in the category for asking 10k per night that too for a basic. Room

Cozy cottage vacation
In addition to the impeccable cottage rooms, food, friendly staff behaviour, timely service, the layout of the whole plot was breathtaking, overlooking the hilly scenic beauty patnitop is famous for. Breakfast in the front lawn in the sunshine, lawn chairs amid-st apple trees, rose garden, butterflies surely gave the feeling of relaxing in an english garden. Strategically placed close to significant tourist spots, shiva cottage is a must stay for all planning to unwind in a cool, comfortable weekend.

Fantastic and must visit cottage
It was great experience, must visit place with lots of masti, great comfortable rooms with almost all amenities, staffs were great and cooperative. Food was awesome. Fantastic mountain and velly view. *10/10 excellent)

Not so good
Room service poor, restaurant just an illusion, food quality is average. Not equivalent to the price paid.

We have a tree house restaurant. Everything is provide at par at the hotel. Room are utterly clean. What else is expected?
Staff not at all supportive
familyVery bad experience staff not cooperative specially person sitting at their front desk. They charged for extra bed and not provided extra bed. Morover. The manager himself is very rude. Not recommended as customer service is priority nowadays but this property is not cooperative

Bathroom was clean, had good facility like room heater, electric blanket to keep us warm. But we found a centipede on bed side, hair on the blanket. Room is situated in the back of reception, so it was quite noisy. Also no view from the room.

Beautiful property with lovely view
Overall it was a great experience for me and my family during our stay at shiva cottage except for the room that was besides the reception was too noisy until late night 1am but they were humble enough to upgrade us to a higher standard room on minimal charges, which was great. Here the food was tasty and they also provide boon fire for chilly nights. Great place will visit again.

Offbeat traveller
coupleShiva gave us a smaller room (which the manager admitted while check out) in spite of the fact that the entire cottages were unoccupied. He said, ' come back after your visit to nattha top and i will give you a special bigger room, do not book online' i think shiva does not want mm t as an agent in between. Otherwise the place is good, worth about 1500. Very close to the shiva temple. Food is good though expensive, service is also quite ok. With just us and later on walk-in two couples, shiva did not offer tandoori for obvious reasons.

A paradise just 3 hours away from jammu
This property is indeed a paradise, the food, the ambience, everything is stunning. Don't miss their local food like khatu meat and ghee rajma chawal. The best dogri veg and non veg food served. The rooms are extremely hygiene and beautiful. The staff is very welcoming and polite. The best experience i had as a solo traveler. Good luck team shiva cottage patnitop
