Review Of Hotel Seeta Since 1965 Near Golden temple

Clean and family friendly hotel stay near Golden temple. Had most memorable trip of life..

Although it is mentioned that early checkin is guaranteed,the staff asked for additional amount of INR 500. Moreover , the owner was very rude and not customer friendly.Owner also asked us to make booking directly .I didn’t want to waste any further amount at this terrible hotel so I booked other hotel...Will not recommend any one

the place was near to golden temple langar gate and main gate. the staff is helpful and polite you can eat at amritsari dhaba bubby fast food or bharwan da dhaba

Room size and ambience doesn't match with the shown pictures. They have not taken any action even after conveying the message. Although washroom is clean. Walking distance from temple.

I had a booking of 2 deluxe rooms. However when we checked in, one of the rooms allotted was smaller in size and was not from the deluxe category. When I complained at the reception for the same, he said there is no availability. I said then you should have checked it before confirming my booking. He said I can't do anything . Then I asked him to adjust the tariff of the rooms as per the availability, but he denied and disconnected the call. Later he called me again and said there is one room available at a different floor, Since I was traveling with my family, I wanted to have both the rooms at the same floor. But , due to this chaos, we had to stay at different floors. The linen had stains, rooms had cockroach, the staff was rude, the severage outlet in the bathroom was blocked . It was an average experience with Seeta Niwas. Only 1 thing which I liked was that the distance to Golden temple was just 2 mint walking .

Though my booked hotel room was showing AC in the amenities but the owner refused and said that AC will be charged separately. The room too was not well maintained and walls full of seepage. It was just an average experience staying in that room.

The owner of the hotel was very hyper and rude. He called us 10 days before our arrival and told us that if we don't submit the papers by 14th then our booking will be cancelled. Even after getting confirmation from MakeMyTrip, he was very hyper on reaching there. We had gone with our family.We went with family so there was no dictionary as they threatened to put it in. We got scared of this and paid ₹1400 extra over the booking amount. The owner is very rude and a looter.

I had booked 2 rooms and had the worst experience as following: 1) While booking, they're offered complimentary Guaranteed 2 hrs Early-Check-in = False, the owner/manager at the counter was rude, denied and asked us to claim it from MMT. He charged us Rs. 500 for early check-in and that room's ac was also not working properly. 2) Despite requesting multiple times seeing empty rooms, they gave us room no. 208 and 309, both in different floors. 3) Room sizes and condition were totally incorrect. They gave us so tiny rooms that there wasn't even space for keeping bags. 4) No geyzer and no shower in 208 room, even had to ask for towels and no earthing for geyzer in 309 room = I got a mild shock while using geyzer in 309 room. Hand wash was so pathetic, unchanged since years. 5) Their restaurant couldn't even provide Paneer Paratha at 10am for breakfast Except for location, there's nothing good or even satisfactory about this hotel.

Good experience with smooth checking and exit. Walkable to Darbar sahib with required amenities available

Proximity to Golden Temple is primary factor and reasonable price . Due to prime location food can be ordered through online apps.

Amenities and services was pathetic. Room was very conjusted and no ventilation. Also they did not provide basic bath towels stating that laundry did not come that day. waste of money also not hygienic at all

Room is neat and clean food is so good it is near the golden temple staff behavior is so good

I booked Seeta Niwas as per their pictures uploaded on Google and MMT. They gave me a room like a slum, totally damaged and foul smell. When i asked for refund, they said they won’t give me any refund. They merely were attentive to my complaint and the owner was horrible. His speech was so bad and miserable. Worst experience ever. My 2 days stay and money was wasted.

As the hotel television remote still not working and mark of pesticides on the wall. Bed size in small around for 5 feet person. As i checked in around 10. 30 o clock in the morning and the hotel owner charged rs 500. 00 for 2 hour early check in which was not mentioned that early check in is chargeable or with any amount. The location is good but the toilet air did not ventilation.

Room quality was not the same as shown on the website. The toilet and room were average according to the price.Room was too little for staying 6 people (but on the website room was shown so big and over exaggerated).

First they confirmed me the early check in and when we reach they just deny and ask to search other hotel at 5:00 am in morning worst experience please don’t trust on them
