Hotel Sahasra Residency shows beautiful photos of their rooms , but in reality, the place is nowhere close
When we arrived at Tirupati railway station, we informed the hotel manager that we had reached. After visiting the temples, we reached the hotel around 6 PM, even though the check-in time was 12 PM. Despite knowing we were coming, they had not cleaned the room for us. We were made to wait outside for 15 minutes while they did a very quick and careless cleaning. We were already exhausted by then.
To make things worse, they casually asked us if we needed soap! The bathroom was not cleaned properly, there was no shower, and the mirror was so dusty that we could barely see our faces. The dustbin was not provided, the faucet (toilet jet spray) was not working properly, and even the bed had a bug — despite all windows being covered with mosquito nets. The toilet light switch was missing entirely, and the TV didn’t work either.
I had booked the room one month in advance, and this is the condition we got. The Wi-Fi signal was practically non-existent.
We didn’t argue or leave immediately as it was already late, and we had our elderly mother with us. But we checked out the next morning as early as possible. This is not fair. We paid for a decent stay, not for such poor service and lack of basic amenities.
I strongly do **not recommend** this hotel to anyone. Please avoid this place.
