Review Of Hotel Pinewood, Barog (HPI-DC)

A good getaway spot, rooms are average size but TVs are too small. Some printed dishes in the menu are not available. Otherwise its good.

The hotel is not upgrading itself in terms of service. Not provided bathroom slippers and room service expected.

Charge for extra bedding which we not used for our child and even ask us that they will charge if per person eat for more than their limit price although dinner and breakfast were included in our package.

Hotel was comfortable and staff was very professional and helping. Food was exceptional.

What a memorable stay, from the staff to the breakfast, everything was perfect, check in swift, clean rooms, great location, beautiful scenic view from the room and to end it the Pinewood cafe with beautiful set up was a treat. All thumbs up.

Hotel is at the good location and you enjoy the nature but maintenance and upkeep is not upto the standard. Even food and services are average. Not value for money.

Hotel needs to be ameliorate. I had bad experience due to worst conditions of rooms and poor food preparation. The most notable thing was bad disposition of faculty, however I stayed there for 1 night because of only MakeMyTrip not hotel.

First time bad experience with HPTDC behavior of manager & in charge of the restaurant specially.

It was an awesome short trip. We liked everything about d Hotel. Mountains view, food were excellent.

Rooms need ACs but not there. Staff was not enough courteous or welcoming. Otherwise experience was good.

Food needs improvement. We opted for 2 meals per day offer but had to pay extra for food at Hotel as dinner buffet was not available. Floor carpet in room was not clean.

Requires lots of funds to refurbish the place

More plug points are required to charge mobile laptop etc

Typical Govt guest house feeling when you intend to pay less for the facilities. No modern facilities at this price. One should explore better options nearby. If it is just to pass the night in nightmare than ok. Being located at prime location it would be better to renovate and charge more.
