I was charged an extra INR 500 with the claim that the MMT discount was not applicable. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a clear case of fraud. I had no option but to pay the amount as it was late at night and I couldn’t look for alternative accommodation.
The condition of the room was shocking. It was extremely dirty, with hair on the bed, stained linen, and an overall lack of hygiene.
Essential amenities were completely missing—no soap, no dental kit, no glass, no kettle, no working TV, and the AC didn’t function properly. The bathroom was in terrible shape—the WC was not flushed or cleaned, and the flush wasn’t working even in the second room I was shifted to. Towels were in horrible condition.
To make things worse, I wasn’t even given a room key. When I asked, the hotel staff said I should call them if I needed to get in—despite there being no telephone in the room. I had to go downstairs every time to get help. The overall behavior of the staff and management was dismissive and unhelpful.
I strongly urge to take immediate action against this hotel. No guest should be treated like this or made to stay in such poor conditions.
