We visited Ajmer dargah over the weekend, and the hotel was a delight very close to the Dargah entry gates which were the primary factor for choosing this hotel, so took care of any long walking distances. Hardly 100 walking paces to gate number 10. We were pleasantly surprised by some other things though and certainly beyond expectations in a budget hotel near the Dargah. The rooms super tidy, washroom set up in a way that you find in a 3+ star hotel and certainly far better than other costly hotel options in the vicinity of the Dargah. The best part for us, the hotel had proper comforters to use instead of woolen blankets, may seem like a small change but reflects the attitude of the hotel towards guest amenities and service. Overall, very good experience. 5-stars! What did we miss, food options! There are plenty of small food joints around the Dargah and close to the hotel, but not very good settings/ambiance for having proper lunch/dinner with family.
