Overall stay was good.
But our check-in was messed up.
The guy at front desk- Sairam, tells us we do not have a booking despite sharing the booking voucher and payments made.
After much arguments, a room was assigned to us.
The opposite room had people drinking & smoking, with a poster of no smoking & drinking hung on the wall, when we put across this to Sairam to just let the guest know to close their room door as my parents were about arrive and had asthama, He responds with we do not have another room, you guys cancel the booking and leave the premises.
Being from Hospitality industry myself, I have never once encountered such issue.
Thankfully next day our issue was resolved regarding the booking by other members of the front office.
Hotel is a decent place with good amenities, the only lacking which we felt was training of the staff.
Please consider training your staff regarding guest handling.
As the check-in is a time where you can make a guest into a repeat guest.
