Review Of Gold Star Beach Resort

We had been re-booked to a different hotel nearby as this place was closed. We had not been informed about it at all, and cane to know only after we reached the place and called the manager. He was somewhere in mumbai and didn't even have the location of the place we were rebooked, and we had to ask around to find it.

Room was not clean that much. The most imp is cockroaches were roaming with us. Very bad. I will advise to keep the room clean and maintain e hygiene.

I booked a gold star resort but actually there is no hotel with that name and another hotel not on the beach on the other side.

Properly has new location.showing old property pictures and it is not active in actual. They have another property (in complete) where they do shift guest.

They were selling rooms offline which had been booked by me through make my trip for 28. 12. 2022. They tried to send me to room which door was just hanging on support of a hing and could not be closed. Second room did-not have any ac ( i had booked ac rooms. They denied check in

The booking was made but hotel was closed. The makemytrip does not made any support for this instead of sending message on whatsapp terrible experience

Location is ok but rooms are not comfortable

While the beach is good facilities and services are poor standard. No hot water facility. Breakfast is served by directing the guests to their another property joy grand. Not recommend for family and kids.

Hotel in havlock booking by makemytrip is awesome, hygienic and best in quality. Service is also very fast and breakfast is very testy.

I feel cheated at the behest of makemytrip when gold star does not exist why you are booking hotels in this name. Refund my money

There is no gold star beach resort at all. They shifted to joy e grant resort and their intention is only to get more money. Don't ever drink water from this resort it was the worse experience. Everything was bad in this resort.

There was a frog in our room and a very small bucket was there in washroom. No variety in breakfast

We had a pretty bad experience at the Gold Star Beach Resort mainly because the room and the facilities in the room were not good compared to the money that was charged. There was not adequate hot water, even though there was a person delivering hot water when we asked for it, but we needed it right away and we where three people. We stayed there for two days but the bed sheets were not changed and the room not cleaned. There were not adequate soaps, shampoos provided. Even though the room was big, there was not enough light and the fan would either switch on or switch off even though there was a regulator. The Beach attached with the hotel didn't have proper lighting and/or chairs for us to sit. We couldn't relax in front of the Beach. I could probably go on with the cons of the room, but he only pro with the hotel was that the people were nice and they did as much as they could to make our stay nice. The breakfast was not bad and everyone was pretty punctual.

Actual position of the rooms is different from what is shown in MMT site. Dirty bathrooms. Dimly lit rooms. Overall not a good place to stay.

Location is good, food is very good, but the support staff as such not very cooperative.
