Stay was amazing and hospitality was top notch. Room and the view was great. Private beach was beautiful

The hotel has a beautiful location right on the shore, and although it doesn’t have a private beach, you can easily walk a few meters to access it. The staff were polite and helpful, which we appreciated. We had booked a family suite, and while the rooms were neat and clean, there were issues that should not be overlooked the head shower was leaking, and the bathroom lock was broken. For the food, it was just “okay.” However, when you are paying a premium price, you naturally expect more variety and better options than what was offered. The most disappointing part was the swimming pool. The water smelled unpleasant and was visibly dirty. When visiting Havelock, a good swimming pool is something you really look forward to, and this was a huge letdown for us. To conclude, the property itself is beautiful, but it is very, very poorly managed. When you charge guests a premium, the least you can provide is a smooth and enjoyable experience. We truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on these areas because this place has the potential to be truly outstanding if managed well.

Amazing stay and good food. It indeed was a pleasure to be in havelock and gave an opportunity to see and feel the nature closely. The vijay nagar beach was as close as 80 m.

It's a beautiful resort just besides a sea beach. You can take a walk in the morning on the beach which is absolutely calm and peaceful. The property has a nice swimming pool and a restaurant. You can enjoy your evening in the pool as all outdoor activities will end by 5 pm. Food taste is ordinary though. Staff are good. Overall it's an excellent experience.

The resort is well maintained. The rooms are clean and functional. The staff is courteous. Great value for money. We enjoyed our stay and even tried their lobster which was fresh and well prepared.

Room service isn’t available from 7 am till 9:30 am. Which was unpleasant, as i just needed tea in my room for which the kitchen staff denied. Rest staff is good and service is great. Nice property. Just in my room refrigerator wasn’t working so felt little down but somehow managed with the help of the staff.

Stay was good, support staff were helpful and good food. Easy to commute to different sightseeing places.

This property is worst staying, poor room service, dirty pool, no proper restaurant system, bathroom dirty, complementary breakfast is of no use

I stayed for 3 night in ocean tree beach resort the resorts room was specious and good but according to me price was very high according to service, if you spend 10k to 12k per night you chose another resort and food quality was average not very good and no live music and other activities according to service the price is too high.

We had enjoyed our stay with ocean tree resort during december 2022 and celebrate the new year eve at havelock island with beautiful beauty of island. Thanks for the lavish food, supportive staff and ambience. Happy stay.

We paid a hefty amount for this resort but were very disappointed by their services. The staff is very uncooperative and pays no heed to your requests. We requested them well in advance to arrange a vehicle for us. They assured us that they would do so but later declined and left us in the lurch. This wasted a lot of our time in making alternate arrangements. The variety and quality of food was not up to the mark. They had very limited food items and did not serve many dishes mentioned on their menu. The housekeeping staff was rude to us when we requested them to clean our room. They told us outright that the rooms would be cleaned only after 12 in the afternoon. Our overall experience was not good. You will get many good resorts in Havelock at a much less price.

Date of stay - 16-19 dc 2022 positives: 1. The staff is just amazing. Very well behaved and cordial. Special thanks to shusmita for such a warm hospitality. 2. Good location. Many other properties and local restaurants are nearby. Walking distance. You can walk outside easily. 3. Rooms are clean and as shown in pics on internet. Negatives: 1. No private beach - if you plan to sit by the beach at night and enjoy the time, the resort is not for you. You have to walk through another property to access beach. Also, there is no lighting on the 100 mtr walk towards the beach. Further, the beach is rocky and full of trees and leaves. 2. Small swimming pool. 3. Breakfast - very limited spread. 4. No spa - and i am talking abt supposedly peak season. 5. Small property. I have attached the pics for reference. The property is a rectangle shape land with 20 rooms and a swimming pool in the centre. (do consider looking at coral reef resort before booking here, the rates of coral reef are marginally higher but you get a entirely upscale experience. Conclusion - although the experience was decent but the price for my booking was very high. We visited the adjacent property "coral reef resorts" that was just class apart with beach view rooms and true beach access. The tariffs were almost same. Take your decisions now! happy holidays!
