Review Of Fireflies Kabini

I booked a stay here with my family for 2 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms, ambience and food was amazing. Beautiful landscape and all rooms had good view of Kabini river. Staff was very co-operative. Excellent service. They even arrange safaris if you wish to go for one. I strongly recommend this place.

Food was very good. Very Peaceful environment. As we went in rainy season river was fulll, river view and weather was amazing. Well maintained swimming pool. Polite staff, good service. Its very near from kakankote kabini entrance of nagarhole forest safari.

The property location and facilities was very good and the staff was friendly. Liked the food and overall it was a comfortable stay. Will go next time and refer to friends and family.

Kabini Fireflies is an absolute gem of a holiday destination. The final 200-metre approach to the resort is a little rough, but this is soon forgotten once the gates open and you are welcomed inside. Our chalet was modern, well-appointed, and had an enviable view of the lake. The grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained. Activities on offer include a small but adequate swimming pool, a volleyball net, a small trampoline, and various table games. As there are no restaurants nearby, all meals are inclusive. This was not a problem at all, as the food was consistently excellent. The resort's location is perfect for accessing the Nagarahole Tiger Reserve, as the safari centre is only a 10-minute drive away. On the downside, although free Wi-Fi is provided, it is practically unusable. However, this was a minor point, as all the staff, from the manager to the groundskeepers, were wonderfully friendly and helpful. A special mention must go to Sanjay Kumar, Subhu for his excellent service, and Basanta, the chef.

Had a very pleasant stay at Fireflies. Right next to the river bank, book a room that gives you the view. Enjoy sitting on the deck and gazing at the wide expanse of water. It’s a beautiful, calm sight. The food at the resort was wonderful. Buffet with great variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They made great snacks as well. The Internet in the room is patchy so don’t come expecting to get work done. This is a place to cut back and relax. Rooms are comfortable, staff is very helpful. They arrange for a masseuse if needed, have a car wash also available. You can book the safari from the hotel itself and they’ll guide you really well. Had an excellent stay. Done already

Excellent getaway place, great people , great view. Excellent food. Only draw back is the approach road...but it's worth taking the road. All meals included in the package, it's great deal. Estate manager Nagesh and his team doing great work

Location awesome, only last mile approach is not good. Food & Amenities great only there was not much technicalities with the SPA, expected far better.

Had been to the place for vacation with family, the place was too good everything was jus perfect loved being there nice cosy and relaxing

Pros- well maintained property, great ambience and views, staff behaviour was quite good cons- connection road is in poor condition, food options limited. It is definitely not even 4 star but the cost is equivalent or more than fancier places.

The property is overrated they rooms are good but amenities at this cost is average, food is also not that good. When i wanted to use pool there were workers who were doing plantation all over the property, there is construction work as well so too many works looking at you.

The food was really good and the stay was very pleasant, perfect for a short weekend trip. Staffs were polite and very proactive.
