Kemps Cave Ooty

Location is so so, it is a small hotel having a few rooms. I had my old husband & young son with me. We went by own car from Bangalore. Open car parking was there near hotel. The room was in ground floor but specious. We had 3 bed in that room but bed sheet & blanket cover of double bed was very dirty & spotted. We informed in hotel, they change the bed sheet. But blanket cover was not changed. We told the boy to keep it in almirah & we took our own blanket which we carried from home. Staff was not very cooperative, dinner at that hotel was not tasty, breakfast was not bad.Bathroom was spacious & necessary toiletries were there.

The location is ok. however, the food quality of their restaurant is poor, either is too salty, too sweet or tastless. Basic amenities of having water inside the room isnt there. For person who doesnt want to get outside the room, due to chilling weather, one have to step outside and get water for themselves. The restaurant i noticed they are short staffed, due to which if u decide to have food after sometime than the standard timings, the service to will either get delayed or nothing at all- you have to choose to stay hungry.

A very nice hotel for staying in Ooty. I just want to say to the management, please arrange a power backup, other than all are very good. They provide unlimited complementary delicious breakfast. The room along with the bathroom were well maintained.

Rooms were clean but basic things like hand wash was missing, shower gel was very old it looks we could not use. Other than this, breakfast was good and taste was better as compared to the dinner ordered.

The property vas very good and neet maintained. The location is also peaceful and very easy to travel around Ooty . The food is very delicious . And the room is neat and clean the bathroom is very very excellent

it was a perfect experience 👌 the staff was also very supportive location is prime, we didnt even have to book transport to go to main places like ooty lake and chocolate factory.

Hotel is in quiet place with open area.. but the electrical points in the bedside were not working, TV cable was not working (it was rectified later) Hair dryer in the bathroom was not functioning, an lron box costs hardly 1k it seems they have only one for the entire hotel.. had to wait as other customer were using.. Rooms were clean, staff well behaved, but there is difference between well behaviour and good service..

Hotel is good but food is not good they charge for room heater

There are no such amenities and services provided by the hotel. we have booked the rooms as shown in the mmt. and in the hotel they have provided the room in the basement and with no ventilation. when we have asked for the upgrade asked for 4500 more to upgrade the room that too is not that good. the room was not clean having stains on the complete bed and blankets. water was also not available in the room as well as on the floor .. I had to go to the first floor from the basement for water. will not be happy with the stay.

Room heater was for extra charge of 500 no hot water hotel below 3 star so please don't stay here not a good choice

Service is worst. we have booked 2 rooms. One room is OK. another room is worst. No vantilation . No windows. under ground room. cigarette smook was continuously hole day.

The location was very near to the ooty lake. The property was clean and have a brand new feeling. The rooms were not having AC and fan. The property has ample car parking space. The lobby was small and tidy. Flitered water was made available (hot, cold and normal) in the lobby. The staff is very helpful and kind. The restaurant is open till 9:30 pm and food served was between average to good. On the last day although the breakfast was not upto the mark.

The room was spacious and the hotel is close by to most common tourist attraction. The room service was not existent. I stayed for 3 days and the room was not cleaned even once despite of giving keys explicitly asking for cleanup. As the room has no AC or fan we asked for a lighter blanket and got none. The rooms had layer of dirt under the bed and sofa. With young children it became a problem by second day. Food was good but limited options. Also room service staff needs training. Most of the time they did not bring cutlery along with food. The morning breakfast was also fine. In simple words not worth the money I paid.

Well maintained property. Stay was pleasant, good food & quick response from the staff. Over all experience is excellent
