We had booked a room for 2 nights (Friday check-in and Sunday check-out). On Friday, we informed the representative that we would check in early Saturday morning, and they confirmed it was fine.
We arrived around 5 AM on Saturday. Unfortunately, the lift was not working. The room itself was clean and satisfactory.
At around 11 AM, we inquired about the restaurant, and were told it would open at 12 PM. That was acceptable.
However, during checkout, the receptionist claimed we had to pay ₹500 for early check-in. We clarified that we had already booked and paid for Friday night, so our check-in at 5 AM Saturday was not early check-in. The receptionist eventually agreed.
But a few hours later, we received another call again asking for ₹500. We had to explain the situation again, which was frustrating and unnecessary.
