Overall it was very pleasant. Location is 100 meters away from waterfall. Host is very friendly and he took good care of us.

Amazing stay. A serene place to stay. The flowing sound of the nearby stream is soothing. Amazing view, you can take a bath in the stream and experience the Spice garden, surrounding the stay. Ratheesh is an excellent host, he followed up as to when we will be reaching the property, and asking about our food preferences. It rained during our stay and it was really beautiful. Rooms and bathroom are very clean. Food is good. Highly recommend this place for the people looking for great relaxing holidays.

It was bit far from city but worth staying. Good view right from sunrise and mini falls nearby.

less than an hour from Munnar city, outside of all the noise, a bus to Anaviratty and a short rickshaw drive for 60 more RPS will get you to this heaven in the middle of the jungle, full of nature all around , a lake nearby, milion types of birds, and the house is new and western, rooms are super clean and Cozy!! hot water and everything you need is there... the owner Ratish and his family are amazing, amazing breakfast is usually included with accommodation, so fresh, and other meals are also an option.. they make everything from what they grow by themselves, so it's fresh and clean, also the spices, everything... also Ratish can take you to their plantation near the house , it will amaze you... they grow everything from coffee to fruits, and he explains about it with such knowledge and humbleness... 10/10

Wonderful experience. Well maintained property with lots of greenery around. Host Rathesh is very helpful & friendly, he has gave tour of his farm & around. Good food. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Its just wow… Beautiful and nature friendly place situated in the middle of farm Maintained by a person with values and humanity @Mr Ratish bhai Always says .. OK for every request. We had a very good time and followed the same plan suggest by ratish. You can just sit on the terrace and relax by seeing the view and river water flow

Stay was quite comfortable with pleasant view. Room also good with cleanliness, good food and spices field to visit, big waterfall and river within 1 mints walk. Quite comfortable stay, view was pleasant and local attraction like water fall river are on walkable distance. Room was good and clean.

The stay was good and the owner was very generous and nice. If anyone is looking forward to going to Munnar they can visit this homestay.

The homestay is in a excellent place located in midst of a waterfall and forest. Great room, great food, and more importantly, ratheesh is an amazing host! i recommend everyone to stay here

East stavanger is one of the best homestays i have ever stayed in for the below reasons 1, location, the place is located well away from all traffic commotion and sits nicely inside a valley amid-st 4 acre spice plantation. In just 2mins walk from this place there is a beautiful river stream where we enjoyed swimming. Even our 8 yr old kid was able to bath safe in the stream. 2, food, on day 1 we reached very late at about 10pm. We called and ordered food beforehand. Hot chapatis and gravies were waiting for us even at that time. The breakfast idly, sambar and chutney was awesome. The next day breakfast puttu and kadalai was the feather on cap. Tasted excellent and the best way to send off your guests with a lasting impression. That puttu and kadalai would be my main reason to visit the place again. 3, mr. Ratheesh, the man owns the place and works like a machine. He is always warm and welcoming in his words. Our car got broke down on day 2 at 9. 30 pm in a nearby place. The locals near the place said the problems seem big and may take up to two days. I called ratheesh, he promptly arrived at the place and talked to the mechanic and made sure that our vehicle got ready the next morning. He assured us that even if our vehicle doesn’t get ready the next morning, there are plenty other options to go home, so just relax. It’s been four days since we got back and my daughter keeps saying she wants to go back to that place. I would recommend anyone travel-ling to munnar expecting a wonderful location, good food and warm hospitality to visit east stavanger homestay.

4 very good peaceful place. A bit far away from munnar town but nature lovers will definitely love the stay. Will surely plan to visit in future as well

The place was nice and welcoming. There is a river nearby and it is a nice experience to be there. The good is excellent and the hospitality is very good

This property is spread over 5 acres of spices garden. It is very beautiful. A small river is flowing next to it and it's fun taking bath there. The owner is friendly and makes the stay delightful. It feels like staying inside a jungle resort.

This place is awesome. Any can stay here for weeks and enjoy at the same time. The hospitality is very good by the host. Morning breakfast with such nice view will make your day. It is the perfect distance to Munnar, so trips to the city and the beautiful tea plantations are very easy by public Amazing stay at Ratish’s. He is an incredible host. The room was great. Ripple adventures is very close to this place. SafetyThe place is very safe. We did not face any safety issues during our stay. We even went for a walk around the place post 6:30 pm when it was about to get dark. WalkabilityTo get to the place you will need a vehicle. You can walk around in the estate and also to the waterfall nearby with no issues. Food & drinksThe home cooked food was amazing. There are also other ways to get food delivered from nearby hotels.

Very good host, the place is awesome. One feel like he is in forest. Very good rooms and professionally managed by owner. The owner gives you a spices( masala) tour which is very very good 5 star from me.

The stay was very pleasant. Especially the floor was covered by carpet which gave good feeling in cold temperature. The approach road is a bit challenging for van and busses but not a concern for cars.
