As a family, it felt uncomfortable to always be under observation, with the caretaker residing within the house and frequently around while guests were present. This constant presence made it difficult to enjoy open family time, which was disappointing.

The caretaker stays at the property in a separate room which was mentioned in details before booking the property. The review given by the Guest is not correct/biased and should not be taken on record for the following reasons:- The Guest was insisting on immediate/early check-in as they were staying in nearby place. On being told that room was not ready and check-in time is 2 p.m., they misbehaved with the caretaker and used foul language. Even then, the caretaker allowed them almost 2 hours before without any extra charges. Further, at the check-out time of 12 p.m., they were not leaving and finally left after 1 hour. And to our dismay and huge inconvenience, at midnight, the caretaker had to go out of the apartment for urgent work and the Guests locked apartment from inside and the caretaker had to wait outside for more than 1 hour at night even after ringing doorbell continuously. MMT should also devise a system where such incidents can be highlighted and system should also be in place for ratings of the Guest in Oder to arrive at the correct position. Regards

The rooms were neat but the kitchen was a but jumbled. Although it was written that they provide toiletries, we were given only a bar of soap and a toothpaste and we had to order the rest from Blinkit.

the property is located on the mussoorie road, very peaceful location. The food is provided as per the requirement of guest, hygienically prepared by the caretaker. The behaviour of caretaker Mr Vimlesh is also very homely and outstanding

Excellent Stay
Had a great experience staying in Doon homestay. Location was stunning, it in the city centre, you can see mountains from the balcony. Room was beautiful, had all the amenities. All other parts of the house was all stunning. Food was cooked by love and was damn delicious. Thanks to the caretaker of the property Adesh. Thakyou for accommodating us early morning.

Location is too easy to find as it is on main road. Food is like you are at home. Very comfortable and homely feeling because it's in a residential gated society. The caretakers Vimlesh and Adesh both are too nice and helpful. Bfast, Lunch and Dinner you can get like home @ reasonable price. Definitely you would like to visit again.

Excellent place even with family
Just an amazing experience right from the beginning. The caretaker was so helpful to choose so many breakfast items. It's a very clean place and well maintained. I will be happy to visit again in future.

No need caretaker
The home stay was good, the only think is annoying was the caretaker was rooming in house. As well as passing comments like “why are you not sleeping its around 12:30 night”, which makes us uneasy.

The review/ratings by the Guests are not correct and biased. After check-in, Guests asked the caretaker to leave the property. Caretaker informed the Guests that he stays at the property also to provide services to them and this is already mentioned in the profile/details of the property. Regarding the time mentioned in the Review, though the Guests had booked the full apartment, the time was 3 a.m. (midnight) and Guests were making disturbing noises. Caretaker had provided them kitchen services etc, which were chargeable but no amount was charged to them. We strive hard to provide memorable and pleasant stay. Guests also need to follow some discipline. We suggest that Guests should revisit the property. We assure our best services to them. Welcome again. Regards

The housekeeper is always sitting in the living room sipping tea or watching television and also misbehaved with the kids

The Ratings and Review given by the Guest are not correct and is highly biased against. The fact is that the booking by the Guest was of 4 adults and no kid was supposed to check-in. Whereas 3 children accompanied them. Even though we adjusted 3 children without any extra charge, these 3 children created nuisance at night, making noise and playing even at 3 a.m. night which was objected to by the Guests. They threatened caretaker with negative review. Hence, the Ratings/Review are not factual.
