We visited Hotel Chithara Residency for the first time, and our experience was excellent as regards to room, cleanliness , courteous staff, and food. Location is also in the heart of City Centre.

Excellent Stay
Very comfortable stay with excellent hygiene. Both the reception and restaurant staff were courteous and well-behaved. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is clean and well-equipped. An extra bed was provided for the additional guest. The location is also convenient — easily accessible from the railway station and within walking distance of the Sree Krishna Temple.

Excellent Stay
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had an excellent experience. The rooms are super spacious, clean, and luxurious, all at an affordable rate. The staff were very polite and welcoming, which made the stay even more pleasant. The only small area of improvement would be adding shampoo in the bathroom amenities, as there was only body wash and lotion. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Good hotel to stay in downtown Udupi
Excellent location and good quality food close to the Udupi temple. The rooms were clean and the staff were very polite and helpful.

Poor Stay
There are no split beds in the property , only king/queen beds are available and the hotel staff expects to share this by 2 male colleagues travelling on business trip.

Great stay with thoughtful ser
We had a great experience during our stay. The room was very neat and clean, which made the stay comfortable. The hotel was kind enough to accept an early check-in upon request and even offered a complimentary breakfast, despite being past the usual time,truly appreciated. Very supportive staff. The location is perfect , right at the center of the city and easily accessible to all major attractions. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting!

Everything about this hotel is premium. Class ambience and beautiful well decorated rooms. Delicious veg food. Excellent location and Krishna mutt is at a walking distance. Highly recommend for all types of travellers

One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast — a delicious spread of authentic South Indian dishes, which we thoroughly enjoyed. While the variety was impressive, a few additional options beyond South Indian cuisine would have elevated the experience even further. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality of the staff. They were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with a smile, making us feel genuinely welcomed. Overall, Chithara Comforts offers a wonderful blend of comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality - a perfect choice for anyone visiting Udupi. Excellent Stay
An excellent hotel with lovely spacious rooms, with good modern amenities and fittings, very clean and good service. Centrally located. Food taste in the restaurant could be better.
