Swagat inn, Udupi. Reasonably clean just few meters from the Main road (near MIT Manipal). No food options at the Lodge. Desk manager was polite & helpful. Bedsheets are some what clean but can be better. 1 litre Aquafina given as complementary and Medimix soap. If you opt for non-AC room, then they will give AC room after *disconnecting* the AC, means no windows for aeration in non-AC rooms.

They didn't even open the room at arrival......very bad service...I couldn't even stay at the hotel....On calling, didn't respond properly The check in was early, there was no security guard or even any hotel people for opening the door.. Waste of money 0 rating

Room was good, big enough and washroom was also good. Cupboard, chairs, dressing table, tv almost all eminities are present

Well the room was smelling bad although it was spacious, but the vibe of the hotel was not right. It was more like a hotel one would book for hookups

The washroom was disgusting with a dead cockroach and ants, there were no toiletries. The bedsheets were itchy and the staff were very unresponsive.

Room was clean and good. Staff also very friendly and safety also we had stay for one day and no disturbance

Nice rooms and foods. This place is near to the heritage village and near to manipal college. The price is also affordable.

The stay was good but the hotel room had no basic requirements like a kettle or a plate. Every time i had to go down to the reception and ask room service also doesn’t work. It was okay for the price

It was my worse stay ever in udupi. Manager of the hotel is too rude and he is behaving like we have not paid for the stay. In one day he is giving only 1l water for two person and if you want extra then he is charging 100rs for 1l water bottel. Most of the time he was away from the reception, if some one wants something then they have to look out side of hottel. In simple words, this hottel is waste of money and time because manager will only give you frustration.

Stay was pleasant and service was good. Location was just ok. Other facilities are remarkable. Overall nice experience.

Location was decent, autos were nearby so no problems with travel. The staff was also very prompt in service.

Overall experience was average, the owner was unfriendly, food facility is not there in hotel, there is no proper market near the hotel.
