The room had a rustic wooden setup, but that’s where the positives ended. Cleanliness was far below acceptable standards — unwashed bedsheets, dusty floors, and a constant damp odor. Water seepage seemed ongoing, with visible mold and stains on the walls and near the windows. The bathroom was in terrible condition with moldy ceilings, rotten wooden thresholds, and a door that couldn’t even be closed properly. The fittings were old, and the entire space smelled musty and unhygienic.
The property parking for three cars, but the cramped area can realistically fit only two small vehicles. The host was rude and unhelpful. no kitchen is available, Swiggy and Zomato services are easily accessible. However, upon arrival, we were told that due to the Dussehra festival, these services were unavailable. When asked, the host rudely replied that it wasn’t his responsibility to inform guests, offering no help despite heavy rain and no food options.
the property is poorly maintained and far less appealing in person. What could have been a peaceful Coorg experience was ruined by neglect, poor hygiene, and unprofessional behavior.
In short: Unclean rooms, poor maintenance, impractical parking, and an arrogant host made this stay extremely disappointing. Not recommended at all.
