Highly Disappointing Stay — Poor Hygiene,and Rude Host
The room had a rustic wooden setup, but that’s where the positives ended. Cleanliness was far below acceptable standards — unwashed bedsheets, dusty floors, and a constant damp odor. Water seepage seemed ongoing, with visible mold and stains on the walls and near the windows. The bathroom was in terrible condition with moldy ceilings, rotten wooden thresholds, and a door that couldn’t even be closed properly. The fittings were old, and the entire space smelled musty and unhygienic. The property parking for three cars, but the cramped area can realistically fit only two small vehicles. The host was rude and unhelpful. no kitchen is available, Swiggy and Zomato services are easily accessible. However, upon arrival, we were told that due to the Dussehra festival, these services were unavailable. When asked, the host rudely replied that it wasn’t his responsibility to inform guests, offering no help despite heavy rain and no food options. the property is poorly maintained and far less appealing in person. What could have been a peaceful Coorg experience was ruined by neglect, poor hygiene, and unprofessional behavior. In short: Unclean rooms, poor maintenance, impractical parking, and an arrogant host made this stay extremely disappointing. Not recommended at all.

Excellent Stay
We stayed here recently and had a wonderful experience. The homestay is beautifully designed with a unique wooden architecture in a foreign style, which gives it a warm and charming vibe. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and offered great comfort. Breakfast was included in the package and it was quite good, which made the start of the day pleasant. The overall ambiance of the property and hospitality made our stay very memorable, and we definitely felt it was worth the money. One small point to note is that lunch and dinner options are not available on-site. For meals, we had to travel around 3 km to find good restaurants. If the homestay can add in-house dining or tie up with nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner, it would be even more convenient for guests. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful homestay experience.

While we regret that something about the property did not meet your expectations, the immediate report of major issues like this after only 30 minutes is highly unusual. some things which should be improved and is cost irrespective- cob webs in bathroom, no room heater was provided, breakfast is till 9:30 only. Only 2 dishes in breakfast. Both days power got cut, inverter is there but geyser didn’t work

Cleanliness is a top priority for us, and we have already addressed this issue with our housekeeping team to ensure such oversights are not repeated. Regarding the room heater, we understand the need for additional warmth in certain seasons. While heaters are available upon request, we regret if this was not communicated clearly during your stay. Our breakfast timing is from 8:30 to 9:30 AM to ensure freshness and to align with most guests’ travel schedules. However, we do consider special requests whenever possible, and we're always open to feedback on variety—we will certainly look into expanding our menu. Power cuts in the region are unfortunately beyond our control, but we do have a backup inverter system in place. However, due to safety and power load reasons, high-consumption appliances like geysers are excluded from inverter support. We do try our best to ensure hot water is available

Terrible Stay
Very bad experience, i went with a family they have provided room which is outside from cherry loft, no restaurant available near by, I have requested for another room but they dont have other room I made full payment but it was non refundable that area also was very scary so I did not stay, I booked another room in Madikeri and also road is not good.

The property is approximately 300 meters from the main highway and is accessible via a proper mud road.

It was a average stay. Located bit inside the is quite lonely in night
Stayed at may 6 with fly. It is far located from main road and quite rough and very dark innthe night.. room is very compact and they do not have an intercom !! Breakfast was very basic and they don't not have a jain food option . On a request to provide at least a one item of jain food as the hotel is far located was denied.

Maintaining the doors of the room open with lights on in the greenery area will undoubtedly attract flies into the room. The property is situated just 5 kilometers away from the main city and 500 meters from the highway, which is easily accessible via a mud road. Jain cuisine is not readily available in all areas, and before booking, no one inquired about this with us. Even before checking in, we contacted the booking mobile number and informed them about this. However, the person who received the call was okay with not having a Jain breakfast. Nevertheless, upon reaching the property, you mentioned that someone else had received the call. It is advisable to verify with hotels before booking if you require any specific amenities. Thank you.

Good Stay
property looks nice balcony view is good..but if don't have any personal or rental vechile it is difficult. breakfast options limited only and no free tea or coffee sachets.. from my thinking price is bit high ..

The property is very accessible from Madikeri center. The room is tidy and comfortable. They have parking space for 3 cars which is good enough. Their room service is good and the care takers took care of our requests very well. Overall we had a very nice stay. We would definitely recommend CherryLoft for the visitors.

Poor Stay
familyFar from coorg main spot. A small hotel with only 5 rooms. Room are dirty mainly bathroom is horrible. Walls are damped. No provision for food. They only provides breakfast, and no other restaurant option nearby. 4km away from main spot.

If you had requested rooms in the city, you could have opted for lodges, as our property is only 4 kilometers away from the main Madikeri city. You could have informed us in the property itself if the rooms were dirty, but you did not mention anything about this. Additionally, the wood seasonal changes will be present, and we have a fixed buffet dinner that you have not pre-ordered. Swiggy and Zomato deliveries are also available.

groupProperty needs maintenance, photos are very old. Current property needs lot of things to be modified. At this price it is not worth.
