Review Of Chalets Resort

The location is very nice, calm and beautiful and the boundary is being shared with forest. The staffs are very much supportive and helpful there is also a beautiful stream near the resort. I strongly recommend the property for someone who want to explore the beauty of nature

Opt some other resort. No proper response from management. Poor workers were left alone to answer us. Without fault on their side, terrible stay experience.
No power throughout the stay. There was no proper replay when we asked for power supply.

This Resort is good with overall features. Firstly the staff are too good and cooperative, attitude is pretty good. Rooms can be better though they are fairly OK. The stay with friends can be superb .. But with family, they need to work out in terms of cleanliness I. E. Things can be better. The Food are simple and good .. Overall I am pretty happy with my stay ..

Last time I booked with MMT and it was not a good experience. I took a chance this time to get even more horrible experience. The cottage was dirty and god knows when it was built... The bedsheets has stains of urine and st inked like hell... There are other good resorts which are value for money in the same location... I already paid extra via MMT for breakfast despite of that the hotelier lied to us that it will be refunded and charged double... Worst experience!! Will not recommend to anyone.

Location was good, room was good but service was very poor and pathetic. Behaviour of the crew was not good and they don't know H of hospitality. I will strongly not recommend this resort to friends or relatives.

There was no current for a long time. Then there was no TV during our entire stay for 24 hours. Overall this place is not worth more than 1500. Hot water not always present and bachelor guests were not controlled from their activities which causes disturbance to families.

Excellent service, very proactive staff members. Had an amazing experience at the resort. The Rooms were clean and airy. We were 6 of us an the staff ensured that all their needs are catered to. The location was also excellent. Overall I would love to recommend the property at my circles. Special thank to the manager Harish, who really made the stay special.

We enjoyed a lot The place was so beautiful and the cottage is also comfortable At night it is so cold out here and the view in the morning is also good experience overall we had less time to explore all the places.

The experience was bad. Starting from makemytrip end itself, they took the booking for the day when the resort was completely booked. So I had to delay my vacation by one day so as to get the room. Next service was bad as tea took 1. 5 hours to deliver as milk supply had run out?. Then there was no water in room early in the morning. Only saving grace was harisha's (manager) empathy and willingness to help. He was willing to come to our room at 5:30 in the morning to see water problem.

Hotel location is thrilling with animals roaming around at night. Food is tasty. Nights are hot to sleep they are planning to fix AC soon. Went through make my trip for Rs. 1800. Night safari is bit costly but worth it. Recommend for bachelors.

We had gone as a family of 5 members, and 2 kids (3 yrs and 6 months). Soon we landed the location and proximity of the place to the reserved forest settled us in. We crossed many resorts notably Bamboo banks, Wildwood haven, etc before we reached chalets. Chalets is the last in the line before the fenced boundaries of the reserved forest closes on you. The forest isn't that dense and for a half a km or so on your west the trees are quite sparse. Coming to the Chalets, they have compact cottages about 6 in no. Each can accommodate an additional bed if need be. There is a Manager, Viju from Palakkad, a helper Vineet, a localite and Moorthy, a cook, native of Nagapattinam, was earlier employed with Hotel Tamilnadu, Mudumalai. Our stay was pleasant but only pain point was lack of timely coordination. Manager Viju was often found cooking Chapatis at Kitchen. Perhaps, at least for weekends,. The management should consider adding more to help with logistics/ kitchen. Also, they have a centralised solar heater, which hardly helps on a cold day. Happen to catch up with the Owner in charge and had told him the concerns. Seems there are already working on these shortcomings and they have some plans for additional landscaping as well. I have requested to set up the place to be more family friendly (those who don't drink/ smoke). As it happens with resorts these days, hardly those who drink/ smoke seems to have any concern for those who don't drink/ smoke. They feel it's their democratic freedom to what they like in common areas. This is another area where Chalets needs can improve by segregating the common areas between those who party and those who just sit quiet enjoying the beautiful nature. On a side note, if you would like to have a transport arranged by Chalets, they don't have much resources, rather for local trips to Ooty/ Mudumalai) you can seek to Bapu a. K. A Vishwanath (speaks Tamil and Kannada equally well) who isn't not just a driver but a honest man and a very resourceful guide.
