Ah It was awesome. Meeting with His Royal Highness, having royal high tea and dinner and then best of the room leisure, was one of the most treasured experiences once can have. Quiet offbeat and convenient one.

Awesome experience of stay, food, swimming pool. Food quality is so delicious. Pool facility is great. Stay experience is like royal.

The rooms were dirty and cockroach in toilet 🚽 toilet flush was very slow and bedsheet were dirty

We had an amazing stay at Castle Khandela. The rooms are spacious and the service is great. Surender ji and his team took care of our requests and made no onion garlic food for my parents and non spicy food for my child.

Very pleasant staff. Very cozy room and good decor. Extremely quiet and they even provide one person from their team to take you around the nearby good temples. The resort is well decorated with old antiques almost 100 years old.

Well maintained Castle with good service. Restaurant has a limited menu but they try their best to match your requirement. Nice antique collections on display. Room amenities are modern and good except the old CRTV sets which need to be upgraded. Else we enjoyed a lot staying here with good hospitality.

It was a totally awesome experience with great hospitality and a comfortable stay. Its a quiet place and ideal for an offbeat vacation. There are couple of nice places to see around the castle and picturesque drive around the valley. The rooms are great and the staff very polite and hospitable. Overall an excellent place for a short vacation from Delhi.

The place is beautiful and calm. Great hospitality and good food. It was a great gesture from the owner (erstwhile royal family) of the property to send someone from the staff to show us around the town. The town is very rustic and has a old world charm especially the 'havelis', the stepwell and the burial 'chhatris'. Overall it was a great experience.

The Castle Khandela stands towering in the heart of the village Khandela, Sikar District, Rajasthan. We had read about the village earlier but had never been there. As we took the left turn from Palsana (we were travelling from Sikar) and headed for Khandela the Aravalli range and the lush green valley was so breathtaking to see that we were excited to head towards our destination. As we reached Khandela, the roads were now narrow lanes and we could see the dilapidated remains of old palatial buildings with plastered new structures built in oddly. This narrow lane gave us the feeling of travelling through an old fortified city. Less than 500 meters and there we were in front of a beautiful castle painted in yellow and white with lush green surrounding. A part of the castle still bore its past glory it did not have the renovated look. The renovated part houses a hotel and a hospital. We were welcomed warmly from the gate of the castle itself and ushered into one of its suites (a huge acquisitively decorated room with all modern amneties) as per our booking. It had a breathtaking look was beautifully decorated with antiques. The corridor also has an awesome appeal, gives you the feel of walking through a museum. Surinder Saini a most polite person the caretaker who made us feel at home, took us around the place. In the meantime our piping hot lunch was laid out on the dining table. The dishes were cooked with utmost care and tasted heavenly. We travel very often and have dined at ace hotels.. But hardly ever tasted such good dishes. There is a cozy garden with a swing and marble table tops designed over large brass surahis around which chairs are laid in open for breakfast, lunch or dinner. HH Dr. Rasla Singh comes out himself to receive his guests. His interests are many and he has an aesthetic sense of beauty. He has a rich collection of artifacts that bedeck every corner of this beautiful palace. The view from the terrace is one of a kind. The Arravalli range cradles the whole city and one can see it fron the terrace. Its an awesome place, a lone renovated structure of this over 2000year old village, a testimony of its glorious past that has not waned in the hands of its present owner but shines out among many others of its time. We were fortunate enough to find a hotel of 5 star cadre in the heart of a less known village of Rajasthan. The cordial disposition of the Raja himself and all the staff here are.
