Review Of Caravela Beach Resort

we stayed for 3 nights at Caravela. the experience was awesome. property is very pretty and properly maintained and it gives access to Varca beach(very clean and white sand) where you can walk long stretch. Food was very good and staff was very polite and helpful. special shout out to Chef Dilip and Chef Rawat( Paratha counter).

Nice beachfront property with good service. Overall look and feel is great and buffet options are value for money. Only downside is pigeons in the dining area of atrium. Management should take additional efforts to maintain hygiene in this area which hosts the buffet meals.

Misleading Pricing and Security Concerns – Guests Beware. Stay was good . Okayish experience. As caravella mailed us regarding a discounted buffet price which is Misleading. Caravella Resort advertises a buffet at discounted price but quietly adds GST at billing, making the actual cost higher than what is communicated. This feels misleading as the mail gives the impression is final. Worse, at checkout a group of cab drivers blocked our pickup right outside the hotel gate, forcing us to drag our luggage out while they created chaos. Even though our cab driver was from South Goa, they stopped him, claiming only select drivers can pick up from the hotel. The shocking part is that this happened in front of the hotel gate with no guard or management stepping in. For a property of this standard, such pricing practices and lack of guest safety measures are unacceptable. Travelers should be aware before booking.

The hotel is beach touch property. It was airy and good. However room is always wet due to condensation. We were not able to open the balcony. The front desk staff were rude however rest all staff were good and pleasant talking to.

Stayed here with family. Excellent location, pristine beach, super cooperative and friendly staff. Mini Goa in true sense. However need some improvements in few amenities like inclusion of Android TV, improved washroom, minibar etc. Overall great experience.. worth visiting it.

They give their beach shack area (Beach hut) for pvt parties no food & area for In house guests. Ruined our vacation !! We also came to enjoy the beach shack along with drink & food Ryt? !! But it’s closed for pvt party. Waste of Money !!

Fabulous resort. It is very difficult to put into words our amazing experience. The property is huge and exceptional. Very beautifull. The beach is very well connected with no unwanted crowd and extremely clean. Would definitely come back again at the property. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I was travelling with an 11 month toddler and they took good care of all the necessary arrangements. Fabulous experience. The resort is exceptional. Staff is very courteous. They took good care of all our requests. Would love to visit again.

Had a wonderful stay at Caravela. This was my first time in Goa and we chose Caravela for our 3 nights stay. The good things about property is there is huge gold course surrounded by lush greenery which gives a sense of calmness, a private beach, rich breakfast buffet options and different activities every day like glass painting, cooking class etc. the staff was also very courteous and helpful, especially Emmy, Frazer. They also have options of late check in.

Very good Hospitality - great service of all amenities and restaurants - very cooperative staff and daily fun activities for kids - good swimming pool - well maintained and good beach view and restaurant- great resort for family stay and to relax

great property and housekeeping staff, good food and spread, amazing location. the only reason I did not give them the 5th star is I somehow felt lack of hospitality in the price I was paying. there were too many checks at multiple points and we sort of felt we are paying to stay but not a true guest. otherwise no complaints

food taste has to improve, we booked dinner for two people, not worthy for the price we paid.
