Review Of Basant Bihar managed by Universal Green Commerce

I stayed at Hotel Basant Bihar in Purulia recently. The location is convenient, and the property itself is calm and peaceful. Rooms were clean, spacious, and fairly well-maintained, making the stay comfortable. However, one major drawback was the food service. It was clearly mentioned that the hotel provides paid food service, but in reality, there was no food service available at all. This was quite disappointing, especially for guests who expect meals or at least basic dining options inside the hotel. The staff was polite and cooperative, and check-in/check-out was smooth. Basic amenities like cleanliness, room facilities, and parking were fine. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay for a short visit if you are okay with arranging your own food outside. But the hotel should update their information honestly and not mention food service when it isn’t available.

There is no food facility. Room is very average and toilet was very dirty. Staff behaviour was good.

Its just good for nothing hotel. Over priced too much. It should be under 500. Waste of money.

In my openion, overall ok. But i think it will be better, if food service become strong. Because near about 5 km no food stall even tea stall is also poor, kindly look on this matter

The property is maintained by 2 people. The guys are good but maintenance of the property is poor. Bedsheet and pillow covers were dirty. There was no soap, no bucket not a dustbin inside the toilet. No towel or soap was given.

Facility is built for occasion/marriage reception only. Staff behaviour is good. Toilet not so clean. Fan regulator was not working. No tv remote was in the room. For one night stay it's ok ok !

Positive. Excellent location, stunning views, big size rooms and toilet, newly constructed, well maintained, well mannered and courteous staff. Negative. Furniture quality is below standard, bathrooms standard but clean.
