Only deficiency was in breakfast, it was not of star 4 hotel category otherwise stay was good, staff behavior excellent.

It was a great stay with family. Food and hospitality were awesome. Location was peaceful and the complimentary pick and drop were add-on. The only issue was that washrooms smell bad, may be due to sewage tanks. There should be some room fresheners in washrooms.

It's a good property with good surrounding and view. The staff was nice and courteous. What I didn't like. Hotel lacked basic amenities like providing free bottled mineral water. Towels and bedsheets were stained though they were clean. Overall property needs better maintenance and a bit renovation.

Located about 2 kms from the Nainital mall Road. Has very big garden. The view of the surrounding hills from the facility is good but not Himalayan view. Food is good, you can order al-a carte. The staff is very polite, helpful and well mannered. The rooms have almost 18 to 24 inch thick walls. But still could clearly hear the chat of the folks in the adjacent room. The rooms and the washroom are phenomenally bigger than what we have in cities. The property has many antique photos and show pieces on display. The food menu is not over-priced even though a heritage hotel. Breakfast buffet had a limited spread mainly with upma, bread, flakes, tetra pack juice, paratha and tea/coffee. All said, still the price tag for a night's stay is not justifiable.

Heard a lot about this hotel Balarampur house. I must say I was just mesmerized by the landscape of this property. It's royal and it's homely. If you are visiting Nainital do stay here. You will cherish every moment. Rooms were huge with heritage written on every piece of furniture. Bathrooms are fitted with modern amenities. Food was sumptuous. We visited during January so enjoyed the snow fall also. It's majestic yet the staffs were down to earth and happy to help every time.

It was super cold in Nainital however the Balrampur hotel service kept us truly warm. Great food and impeccable service truly a delight.
The first day room was super cold. It was ok once we moved to a smaller room and placed 2 heaters.

All you need for a great holiday great rooms, great bathrooms, great service, great gardens and top it up with great food makes all others look small.

Its definitely one if the finest places to stay in any of the major hill stations in Himalayas. Staff is very friendly and helpful, food is homely and good and the heritage property transports us back to an era of charm and luxury. Highly recommended.

Opposite to what I expected, a heritage property with no heritage services. Many more improvements could have been done. Especially on the service front. The best was their car pick-up and drop.

Balrampur house is best property to stay in Nanital. Their services and antique feature rooms are awesome. If anybody wants to be live in with royal feeling should stay in Balrampur house.
