We stayed at the resort from 21-24 December 2019. We were 2 couples with 3 kids. It is a quiet little property near the beach with great location and very friendly staff. But on most other parameters it falls short of our expectations as a group of families who wanted value for money. The points we did not like much are: 1. We booked 1 superior double room and 1 superior king room, both with different tariffs, thinking that superior king room will be larger or having something extra. However, the only difference between the 2 rooms was that in front of double room window, there are a few leaves etc, which only provide partial view of the sea, whereas in front of king room window, the view is little better. Never seen this kind of thing anywhere else. 2. The complimentary breakfast was decent on day 1 including Upma, Poori Aloo, Idiappam, boiled egg, bread butter jam. However on day 2, they prepared some typical Kerala items which hardly anyone liked. There was only 1 item Vermicelli which we knew of. Rest all items we haven't seen in any other good resorts in South India we have been to. General expectation is that in South Indian restaurant breakfast, you will at least have basic things like Idli, Dosa, Chutney and Sambhar. However, none of these things was present in the breakfast on any day. 3. The swimming pool is very small and water was not that clean. Maintenance and water change can be handled better. 4. No indoor games or activities for kids. There is a very small play area for small kids but we expect more when we pay good amount for a resort. Service was pretty good and the staff was very helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay as we were in a group and were there only to relax and enjoy the beach/pool. However, with the amount we paid per night, we didn't find it value for money in the true sense. New resorts are coming up in the same area with more features and amenities and they are worth checking out in my opinion.
