Himalayan Forest Valley Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker

Lovely property away from crowd with great view in shimla. The rooms are clean. We stayed as a family with two kids. The caretaker was very friendly and accomodative.

I travelled to this place with my family. Makemytrip is doing a huge disservice to its customers by listing this kind of properties, this property is in a deep valley where road is extremely narrow, it is highly dangerous to go to this property, you might endup crashing your car into deep gorge and die. No geyser facility at 0 degree C. Staff and hotel management is helpful and friendly, property is new and well furnished. Go to this place for bachelor parties and get togethers. Not for families.

first of all the hotel was an average one, they did not have geyser facility in one of the rooms..we are here in 4°c. there was no toothpaste available.

Hotel was good. But the location wise is very far from mall road. Food good clean is good staff is also good

I travel-led with my 8year old son and my brother in law's son on our first day visit we got frightened as the property was very far from the main city hotel staff was very helpful and decent coming to the weather it got humid at night but there are lot of tres surrounding on all sides for a good look not for families because there is no shop near by 600 rs taxi charges are levied on us for every transfer in the city overall i prefer this to group of friends who want a calm and aventours trip my experience is overall good only because of hotel staff and the service they offer

Last minute room was changed. The washroom was not clean and no water was available. Pathetic service

Property is outside and far from mall road, taxi charges you 300-400 from this loaction to mall road. Tap water from kitchen has been supplied. Hand towel was not available. Room service was good. But all the responsibility of the property has been provided to little boy. Room and view from the property is very good. I you have conveyance then this property is good for accomodation.

The stay was good the room was nice but the driver who dropped me to the location took 500 from me saying that it is far from the bus stand but somehow it was 15-20 mints far. I think that was not appropriate to ask this much money. The caretaker was really nice and took care of everything thing i asked. There was a power cut for 3-4 hours which bothered me alot. All in all it was good if the driver problem and the electricity problem is solved.

Amazing experience! this place has a beautiful view with balcony within nature, it provides yummy and fresh food with all basic facilities in room. The care taker is very hardworking and cooperative. All the appliances and facilities are of branded company used. It has wooden look which makes it more beautiful. We stayed here for 2 nights, which made our best nights spent in shimla.

In property everything was very good but to reach the property is not easy. But location was so good far from rush and you can enjoy the beautiful nature view from property. Food was excellent and all the facilities provided, caretaker mr. Pawan is so clam and help to you in everything and cook very delicious food and host mr. Karan is guide you in every problems and also talk in very impressive way. So you can neglect the reaching property problem. Overall all good in property
