We were also absolutely delighted by the vegetarian restaurant “Namaste”, which served some of the most authentic and delicious Indian cuisine we’ve ever had. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented — a real treat for vegetarians! Evenings at the Dhoni Bar were equally special — great cocktails, a lively atmosphere, and breathtaking sunset views. The staff were attentive and always smiling, adding to the relaxed island vibe. And of course, the water sports activities were a highlight of our trip! From snorkeling and jet skiing to parasailing and diving, every experience was safe, well-organized, and incredibly fun. The water sports team was professional and enthusiastic, ensuring we had a fantastic time exploring the vibrant marine life around the island. Overall, Sun Siyam Olhuveli exceeded all our expectations. Exceptional service, delicious food, stunning surroundings, and heartfelt hospitality — this resort truly has it all. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable Maldivian getaway!

I booked a delux water villa through make my trip , by booking an inferior beach pavilion which costed less than what i paid them to book , on the day of checkin made me wait for 5 hours after a 24 hour trip to checkin. Iam going to go on trip advisor and post with the photos

Great stay, amazing hospitality. Rooms were perfectly clean, courteous staff, good activities to keep kids occupied. Pleasant and tranquil stay with access to beach.

This property is nothing short of a nightmare. They force you to use their overpriced transportation services, charging 10 times more than private options. Worse, they don't allow you to arrange your own transportation. If you refuse to use their service, they withhold the keys to a room you've already paid a staggering $1,000 per day for. Even after paying exorbitant amounts, you're crammed onto shared boats, not given the flexibility of choosing your time. They insist on dropping you off at the airport five hours before your flight, and if you request a more reasonable time (like three hours prior), they make you sign a disclaimer stating they won’t be responsible if you miss your flight. The entire experience feels like extortion—like having a gun to your head, forcing you to comply with their unreasonable demands. It’s not hospitality; it’s exploitation. Avoid this place if you value your peace of mind and fair treatment.

Good infrastructure and location … Service need to be better..

It was so nice and wonderful resort in maldives. It is nice room, good weather and good colors of water, delicious food. You can enjoy in this resort.

The villa is just amazing right above the calm waters of the sea as in my pics. I suggest to not keep any activities planned during your stay and just enjoy your villa. I suggest to pick up that orange floater ring (as in pics) and go right into the ocean with your parter and have a romantic time in the middle of the ocean. Just hope that you have a bright sunny day(s) during your stay.

The resort is located at an excellent place with stunning view of turquoise water. The service was excellent and the buffet spread was great.

The villa and the pool are just mesmerising and amazing as you can see in my pics. I suggest to stay for 1-2 days and don't keep any activities for those days and just enjoy your villa. You might think that the villa is too pricey (book early for better rates) but when you stay there, you will feel its worth the money. Just hope that you have a bright sunny day(s) during your stay.

It is good place to stay if u are going with kids. Kid will not feel bore because they will find more kids. There are more food verity for vegitarian also. Staffs are polit. Water vilas is little old so u will get broken floor some places. Sea creatures verities are there. Even u can see them without going under water.

The stay and hospitality of sun siyam olhuveli was great. We stayed in their property for 4 nights. 2 nights in a beach villa and 2 nights in a water villa and both experiences were excellent

The staff, facilities, food every activity is perfect. They take so much care that we are in tears leaving the island.

Great stay, good feed, awesome location, many options for activities and recreation. Snorkeling experience was great.

Amazing stayed at sun siyam olhuveli, very crowded hotel and busy staff even though they try to be on time. Specially veg. Food available with indian test is awesome 👍 Kids day care center, so newly mother also can enjoy without any tension.... thank you.🙏

We stayed at a grand water villa with pool for 4 nights. I must say - it was one of the best experiences ever. It couldn’t get any better which is already at the peak of perfection. We loved it and we loved it too much. 1. A very warm welcome when you reach the property by the staff playing music on a drum and make you wear a flower garland. 2. The check in is very smooth, your room/villa is pure decided before you reach and your luggage reaches before you reach your room. 3. The staff will do everything for you with a beautiful smile on their faces. 4. Room service is fast and quick 5. The whole property is extremely clean and well maintained. 6. Staff at the restaurants make you feel home and go to any extent to make you happy 7. Very safe as you need not to worry about your belongings 8. Check out is fast & smooth 9. There are vehicles within the resort every few mins to take you from one to another location. Th me resort isn’t very crowded so u can relax and enjoy with comfort. What more you want. My stay here exceeded my expectations. Love you sun siyam. Will certainly be back again soon.

Beautiful resort, lovely welcome, excellent service by housekeeping staff. We stayed at the grand water villas and all was good. Two things one it was extremely hot and i think ac could have been better. Also the stairs to the sea should also be maintained like the rooms. They need to be clean t of the slimy alage. We slipped while climbing up. We had taken the half board plan knowing many restaurants on the island but most don't operate for lunch, was disappointing. For some reason cold still drinking water was chargeable at all places. Water is a necessity and in hot weather even more important. Rather water coolers for self service can be organised. Also one staff member at the pasta station in maalafiy restaurant was extremely rude on 22nd night. Made our first night unpleasant. Dive center was the best part of the stay with amazingly helpful staff. Surprisingly in a dark skin country one could see discrimination of treatment at the reception for dark skin vs white. The world has come a long way and so has the hospitality industry. Please be careful. It's an excellent resort overall.

I had a fully paid bookingin spite of that i had to pay 72 usd at the property
