The Yellow Bamboo Resort

The resort's location is indeed picturesque and the avenue you pass thru to reach the resort is mesmerising. Even though the spa services were available, the staff seem lethargic to arrange for the services and hence we dropped the idea. Rooms are clean and vibes are good, however, my experience was marred by significant disappointments in the restaurant services and food quality, which overshadowed the positives and left us unsatisfied. The service was painfully slow and at times confused. Even though there were lesser number of guests, It felt like the staff were overwhelmed, which is surprising for a resort that prides itself on premium amenities. As for the food quality, it was mediocre at best and unacceptable for a 4-star property. The buffet selections were bland and uninspired. The Coorgi specialties, which should have been a highlight in this region, was not at all on the buffet menu ! and the one which is available in the regular menu wasn't served as there were "no ingredients available". Yes this is the precise answer Ibgot after 45 mkns of ordering Coorg Chicken Curry 😂 On a positive note, the resort's natural surroundings and amenities like the pool and kids' activities (if you're traveling with family) are worth mentioning. But unfortunately, the  dining aspect couldn't match up. Expected at least some complimentary Coffee/Tea & snacks in the evening thats not there. Overall the price tag doesn't feel justified for the services on the offer.

very friendly staff and good property. Food and amenities were also good. Enjoyed the two days with family.

Friendly and helpful staff. Food was decent but overpriced. Pool is good and clean. Overall property is ageing and needs some update and up keeping to improve the overall experience. For the pricing the rooms are just average.

Stay was good. Room was spacious and well ventilated. Balcony view was good. Bathroom was clean. Overall it is well maintained but can improve on food.

I recently stayed at the yellow bamboo resort at coorg and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality, and every aspect of my stay was nothing short of excellent. **Service The staff at the hotel were incredibly attentive and professional. They were always available to assist with any requests, whether it was recommending local attractions or ensuring my room was stocked with everything I needed. Special thanks to Arman and mamta who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. **Rooms:** My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the modern yet cozy vibe. The room had all the amenities I could ask for, including a well-stocked minibar, a luxurious bathroom, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The daily housekeeping service was impeccable. **Amenities:** The hotel’s amenities truly set it apart. The rooftop pool offered stunning views of the city, and I enjoyed relaxing by the poolside lounge.

Had been to gonikoppa for a marathon event and had booked yellow bamboo resorts at the last moment. This resort is situated 6km before gonikoppa surrounded by nature and presence of courteous staff. We stayed for 2 nights and chose the daffodil room which is quite spacious, neat and clean. This has a decent sized swimming pool. On the dining front, the breakfast was complimentary with a good spread. Dinner and lunch was good and fresh since they prepare the food only after we order. The entire staff including the service team were polite and courteous. This place is recommended if you want to get cut off from the hustles of the city life and spend time with your family

It was a great experience. Property is nice, food ( veg & nonveg ) & services are awesome. As seen in the pics, find the same. Cleaned pool. Bigger rooms.

The property and location is very good. But their service is very poor as they hire only untrained staffs. I had several issues with their service despite me repeatedly highlighting the problems.

We had a very pleasant stay at the yellow bamboo resort. The rooms were large and comfortable. The landscaping and layout of this resort is quite exceptional. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very pleasant and went out of their way to help. Special mention. Should be made of rajat & girish at reception and sagar in the restaurant. Will certainly go this place again. However some attention should be paid to maintenance - shower heads, linen, light fixtures.

The resort location is far from the centre of the city, which is ideal if not planning to explore city attractions but only stay. The resort has good amenities like swimming pool, children play, indoor game room etc. Food was average. The drawback starts with the service and timings of different meals, like lunch orders need to be done by 2:30 pm, quite a disappointment. Ambience is good, but lighting etc at night can be better. The staff was polite and good. Overall we had a good time which could have been better.
