Overall a Good location to stay and chill. Do to take up hike to emerald lake(which is complimentary). Food was decent , one of the cons is motor pump running sound for 3-4 hours in a day , next to stay which is irritating and has potential to ruin your stay. For us it didn’t , but it was very annoying

A Blissful experience with a great hospitality and servic

Spent four beautiful days with family at Emerald. The property is located in a pristine environment with the mesmerizing waters of Emerald lake on one side and mountains and farms on the other. Rooms were very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Staffs Rohan and Silambarasan (Simbu) were very kind and helpful. They were there for us all time to meet every small need. We will always cherish the trek to the banks of Emerald lake lead by Simbu and also the farm fresh veggies that he got for us from a local farm. Chef Prem's food was very homely, delicious and customized to our needs time to time. We heard the stories of wild animals (bears, leopards) visiting the property frequently though we didnt get to experience. No safety concerns though. We enjoyed playing cricket and badminton in the limited but adequate space available within the property. Had an issue with having adequate towels for bathrooms which they can take care better. Overall, a great experience and a relaxing family vacation at Emerald, Ooty.

Amazing home stay in the outskirts of Ooty.. A perfect place for a getaway.. Very cordial and cooperative staff. Special mention for the amazing hospitality of Mr. Rohan, Mr. Prem and Mrs. Gayathri. Their readiness to provide the best to the customers is commendable. The property is about 45 mins drive from main city of Ooty with some bad roads.. But the effort is totally worth it...

Serene location with good customer service. The rooms are beautiful (like five star accommodation) and the food is good. It can be cold up here so a heater is provided in the room as well as a kettle and selection of teas and coffee. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of ooty then we highly recommend a night in this beautiful space. Relax, be in nature and look at the stars. If you are a family, i think booking both rooms would be a lovely treat.

Wonderful. Everything was perfect. The view, decor, cleanliness. It had the ingridients of the experience of a home stay and the service level of a hotel. I am glad i included emerald in the itinerary. Experience of a lifetime if you put nature and seclusion as priority over visiting touristy places.

familyThere was no 1 at property after 10pm just imagine it's like a jungle where wild animals can come anytime inf-act the tiger safari is few metres away and there was no 1 on property after 10pm not even the care takers also the big hack was they stopped generator after 12 at night it was horrible in new place without electricity and without watchman

This location is not greenish as in the pictures, this time it was not. Otherwise the stay was very good. Hospitality and the food served were very good. Property looks fentastic. There are some place besides the house which can be of some use for kids to play. All good!
