Pristine beach
It was indeed a very good experience. We all had a great time staying at whispering waves. The resort was neat and clean, homely ambience, good food and coperative staff. Access to beach was close enough and likea private one. I would definitely recommend this place for peace, serenity and homely experience.

Good food, cooperative staff but average rooms
familyThough it is hotel, it gives the feeling of homestay. Food is good. Staff is cooperative. Looks like not too many guests visit the hotel. The room comes with only basic things. It is better to go in big groups. Also i found that room charges are little high considering the room and amenities.

Awesome location
familyThe resort is nicely located near the beach and away from the crowded areas. The property has been suitably developed for a comfortable stay with family in tranquility. The staff was courteous and made sure that all our requirements were attended to. The food was excellent and very local which was the best part for us who were new to the area.

Location food and services are good, ample parking area and near by beach buy room rates are little high.

Excellent Stay
It was excellent stay. Location is perfect just next to beach. Rooms are super clean. Food is just awesome authentic konkni cuisine. Caretaker is also co-operative and friendly. Peacful stay anyone will enjoy.

Cleanliness
Horrible experience as we arrived dirty room to welcome us pillow with fungus bathroom also dirty. No hygiene at all had to ask the guy to clean again he just swabbed and left, no update on our booking after full payment also, horrible hospitality after being the only group in the resort, food was also salty and bought from different resort as chef was not doer in the resort. Drinking water came after two hours stayed thirsty drank cold drink no choice one word to sum it up pathetic

Thanks to you and to Mr. Shashank Coelho, Mr. Gladwyn Fernandes, Mr. Rohan Coelho, who in spite of being members of same group have spared their valuable time to write separate reviews on various review platforms. This is a common response to all the reviews.We would not like respond to the intentional derogatory comments about location, rooms and cleanliness etc. However, the food part certainly needs facts to be put on table.1. We prepare food by prior order only which is mentioned clearly on our website. We try to contact the guests one day before or on the same day in the morning to get the order. In your case we tried to get in touch with you on the number given in reservation on 23 July between 7:30 to 8:00 pm. Since your phone was continuously switched off we left a text message to call us back to confirm your arrival. This is because there was weather forecast of heavy to very heavy rainfall in coastal region between 23rd to 26th July and quite a few guests chose to postpone their travel. Since there was no response from your side, we let our kitchen staff go for vaccination which was also a mandate given by local authorities. 2. On 24th July, on your arrival at around 12:30 pm, this was communicated to you and with your consent the food preparation started at other place (We don’t charge for food in advance so you had option to explore other alternatives. Anjarle is a very small village and travel time is not more than 5 minutes. You also confirmed that you are not in hurry and would like to have food a little late after drinks. The food arrived at around 4 pm, however it was 5 pm when you finally had your “Lunch”.3. Similarly for dinner, you gave a time of 9 pm. The food was ready at 9 pm but the drinks and dinner session started at 10 pm and continued till 1 am past mid night. The staff was there till 1 pm to provide service.4. The breakfast was Konkani speciality of “Ghavane” and needs to be prepared fresh and served hot after you are seated at the breakfast table.5. We don’t serve Alcohol and Anjarle is Alcohol free village. In the night you insisted the staff for 6 bottles of beers and agreed to pay the “additional” charges. However, during settlement of bill you wanted to take 3 bottles only and put the burden of cost of 3 bottles on the staff.It looks like after the Property Manager’s refusal to accept this, you decided to “punish” the resort.
Pathetic experience
Don't go by these pics. We stayed there for two nights and our experience was terrible. There is no cleanliness, wash rooms are dirty. Staff do not wear masks. You should visit this resort only if you know resort owners personally as they get preferential treatment. Will not recommend this resort to anyone.

Nice gateway
Pros: rooms are clean, well maintained and spacious. Overall facility is well developed. Staff is attentive and provide you good service. Property is near beach. Cons: property does not have sea view location is quite far with poor road conditions on the way. Internal roads are also narrow.

Average stay good location
groupThe hotel was average but the location was good. There nothing nearby the hotel but the beach. So you are forced to order from their expensive kitchen.

Excellent stay
We had booked this hotel for two night stay. Must say this stay is one of the best stay we ever had at any hotel. Spacious and clean rooms, a perfect lawn and sitting arrangements for lunch, dinner at partying. Beach is on walking distance from hotel property only. Felt like we are on private beach, clean water, clean beach and no rush. Would love to visit again soon. Thanks for such amazing facilities. Just a suggestion, please make provision of WiFi for customers, as there is no network at all for most of operators. Rest all is superb. Caretakers are very polite and they cook and serve you excellent homemade food. Be sure to give order before 2-3 hours or while starting your journey for hotel. As they need to get everything from market, which is too far. Lovely stay. Must visit. And carry your booze with you, there are no wine or beer shops nearby.

Had a great stay Whistling Waves Resort
familyAlthough there is no swimming pool, spa, gym in this hotel, vicinity to seashore makes up for it. Beach is secluded and as good as private Beach. Enjoyed food and hospitality.

Overlooking windmills and the Sea, not good service
Rooms were okay, you can tell they don't clean them very often because once you move furniture around, you can see a lot of dirt. Also, the people employed at this hotel are not well trained in hospitality. The owner was very polite. we didn't eat much here, only took few starters, from what we ate, it seemed like food might have been good or might have been good.

Pros: Location of the hotel very close to the beach. Food quality is good. Room cleanliness is good. Staff is polite. Cons: Very few games for children to play. Food is costly.

A vert good experience at whistling waves
Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for 2 days. The caretaker Mr. Mahadik and his wife were excellent hosts. The food which has a local taste is too good. The fish preparation as well as veg is too good. Overall a very good stay. The rooms are also clean, neat and tidy.
