Chinar Woods Resort, Dapoli

Food was not available as Restaurant was closed. Condition of access road to Hotel Location is very bad. Facilities like Swimming Pool was not available

The property is fantastic, the rooms are big and airy but the management is extremely poor. We visited for 2 nights. The breakfast options on day 1 were very limited. Only tea was served and there was no coffee in the entire premise. They were preparing omelettes which were good but the bread was getting over. Once we had bread, the butter finished and wasn't replaced/replenished for the entire time we were there. It's a 3 floors property and glad we didn't have senior citizens travelling with us coz our room was on the 2nd floor and except for check-in the lift was not in working state till the time we left. Property had Wi-Fi connectivity for the 1st day but that too was lost the entire 2nd day and never started till we checked out. The restaurant services are unavailable and we had to order in before 6 PM whether we need the dinner services as they order it from outside. The good thing about it was the taste and that the food served was unlimited. But it was marred by the service again. The food came at 9:30 PM and was served one plate at a time for 20+ people wherein the management said that they'll start dinner services by 9:00 PM. The last day breakfast was served, which was good. We had options of misal pav, banana, tea, bread butter, batata wada. The swimming pool was not in working state, which the management had informed well in advance. The overall experience was by bad service. The property has too much of a potential which should be maximized by equally good management

We went with our kid to stay at this resort along with my friend’s family.Quite a scenic place for this resort. Far away from noisy and over crowded resort,we loved staying at this resort. Lot of greenery during monsoon which was quite relaxing. Restaurant was good and food was tasty, I didn’t like the breakfast though. Room was spacious and clean and washroom were also clean, you will get jungle view from balcony. What can be improved is restaurant is little far from room and they do not provide room service, so for breakfast lunch and dinner you will have to go there and have it also restaurant is closed from 3-7 pm. lightings in resort can be improved, which can give a rich look to this resort, apart from these our stay was very pleasant. If you want to get away from city hustle bustle go and stay. Definitely recommended.

It’s well maintained property in the lap of nature with no city hustle and bustle. One of the best decision I made for my family vacation.

Rooms were good, restaurant was also good, meals was tasty. I was been given a room where fan was not working and was giving noise we turned on the fan, they gave option to shift to another room where fan was working, but couldn’t use because it was giving lot of noise. Even they had many other room available, why you gave option to shift to the room where even fan was making huge noise, when checked with reception, he said other rooms are not clean. My question is why can you clean another room where fan is working ? we were with 1 year old kid and so fan was required

There is no service at all on weekdays no one is there to attend you in the reception. There are frequent power cuts. During power cuts, the water supply is extremely low. There is no provision to order food in room you have to go in the restaurant to have food. Top floor rooms are extremely noisy as the lift machinery and motor situated in the duct above the top floor is uncovered so it keeps making noise

The property and location is good but service provided for the money they take is below average, geyser was not working properly, no cells in remote, wifi was not upto the mark, no towels provided by room service we had to request is multiple times but i would like to rate 5 star for restaurant (maple) food quality was very tasty and service was good, only thing is restaurant is far from resort and you will need walk even if you need tea there is no direct delivery available from restaurant to resort.

The place is in the midst of dense forest. The route to the resort is adventurous. The rooms are big, gives suite like vibes. The food is excellent. There are very less amenities at this place. So would be good for a stay of 1 day only.

The room services were very poor and we are very unhappy as the washroom was dirty and room was stingy after we changed the room as we has some issue with the previously provided room

One of the best things about our dapoli trip was this resort. Hill view rooms have breathtaking views. The restaurant was good as well. Courteous and very helpful staff.

location : location of resort is excellent it gives you feeling of hill station. Only point to note is it is atleast 15 km away from any beach in dapoli. rooms : rooms are spacious and clean and well maintained. washroom are also good. if you are booking try to get rooms on second floor as view is excellent from 2nd floor rooms. we had booked 3 rooms for 2 nights . hotel staff and service : staff is polite and nice and helpful. Service is good , but please note you cannot order food in room. restaurant: Maple restaurant is good and food is tasty and reasonably priced . suggestion is to have a pure veg separate restaurant. Please note , restaurant is at a distance from hotel and the battery operated car which they had was not working , so we have to take out our car to go to restaurant. so will request hotel to get the battery operated car fixed. overall it was good stay and will recommend for family stay.

Experience was not good as this hotel not providing room service also basic amenities were unavailable like hair dryer, iron etc. Service was too slow one instruction needs to give to staff multiple times. Restaurant is little away from property. Breakfast taste & quality was average with very limited menu. Somehow felt that this property is overcharging tariff as all things is ok ok like service, food, location etc.

The experience was awsome. Nice ambiance, Aminnities and service was Good. The Food was testy and quite expensive.

Nice and pleasant stay, resort is spread in huge space. It's peaceful away from traffic. Food is good but would appreciate if they add more vegetarian options.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is on top of a hill. The staff was very attentive but the number of staff was less and i think the reason is that the hotel is new.

Location close to nature - 5 food - 5 staff - 5 swimming pool - 5 get away from busy city life - 5 photographs clicked by promoter - 5 sofa cum bed - 5 cleanliness- 5 couple of things to improve 1. The positioning of towel rack in room 101 is above toilet seat, which is inconvenient. 2. Room service is missing, start with basic tea/coffee service, sandwiches. 3. Restaurant is closed between 3. 30 pm and 7. 30 pm, can start with basic menu, sandwiches tea/coffee etc. When occupancy is high. Since there is nothing available in radius of 5 kms. 4. Please replace deetol sqeezy with dispenser in bathroom. Cost saving plus convenience. 5. Parking area can be covered.

Very nice hotel cleanness. Staff serves very well. Food is very nice. Owner of this property is very nice person takes care personally. Location awesom.

Stopped in this property for my onward journey to konkan from mumbai. Decent stay amid-st the greens. Room was huge, relatively new property and was well maintained. Restaurant and pool are located next to each other. Dinner was good, pool was well clean though have to walk for like 2 mins to get there. Due to staff shortage breakfast was a total mess. Staff could not give proper service, it took time for tables to be cleaned and also for the limited staff to refill the breakfast counters. Overall for the price we paid, it was a decent stay

The rooms are nice, and the views are great. Staff is courteous and pleasant. There are a few rough edges to the service, but overall a good stay.
