Review Of Welcome Hotel (Centrally Heated)

We used to stay in mid September. It’s like nonseasonal stay. The hotel is average location is good but their staff is not. As in our booking The breakfast is included but their staff denied at the morning and the reason they gave us is like we don’t have any other bookings for this Hotel due to which our kitchen is not set up. That’s why your breakfast is cancelled and we have informed MakeMyTrip, but on ground reality, MakeMyTrip Don’t have any idea about this. They just bluff with us. Their behaviour is also pathetic about our tea upon our arrival, but they denied it too. The only good thing is the location and any other thing was average.

Heating system already installed but cooling there is not Evan a single fan

Hotel is just next to market . A old vintage property,had good food at breakfast and people where generous helpful

I have already lodged the following complaint on 14th June 2025. Please refund my booking amount without further delay and take appropriate action against the hotel staff. I want to lodge complaint regarding my booking at Welcome Hotel Gulmarg. I had booked online a deluxe room with breakfast and lunch / dinner for two stilts ftom 14th June to 16th June 2036. Y today when we reached Gulmarg we went yo the hotel around 12:40 pm during the day and met one guy there . He was standing outside the hotel complex and said that the hotel was undergoing renovation and that we should not book accomodation . But when we told him that we had already fone booking through make my trip. Then he said that one room can be provided only in the evening. When we went in the evening one guy namely Mohsin who later was identified as accountant . When we requested for giving us the room which they had shown us during the day time snd promised to get ready by another guy namely Omar who was later identified as Cook misbehaved with us. Later both Mohsin used abusive language and aggressively tried to force us to stay on the room or leave. After being ill treated and behaved aggressively in a physically threatening manner we left the hotel. But before leaving SS other hotel staff member cancelled the booking form. I am Attaching here the cancelled booking form signed by the hotel staff mentioning the check in and check out time as well. We hate stayed there for ten very hostile minutes. I request for full refund and a too. Taken shines the hotel staff for misbehaviour and abusive language and physically threatening behaviour.

Property location and staff are good... hotel is not good for the price , maintenance inside the toilet and room is very poor.

the staff service was appreciable with great hospitality moreover the food was lip smacking the cherry on the top was the view from the room which was gorgeous

No Hot Water, Bathroom Door Broken, Leaking Ceiling, Tasteless and limited Breakfast with overal unsatisfactory service Do not stay here , extremely disappointing in every wat

it was really good experience at the resort staff were really nice and polite. we loved the view from resort and it is really not that far from gondola.

Room was Good but small to my liking. Staffs were very friendly. food was good as well. Heater were working well.

Great location near the market with rooms having good snow and mountain views. Central heating, though for limited hours only was comfortable. Food was average to bad but then not many good eating options around. Service was a problem as it was difficult to even get a glass of hot water with poor reception and kitchen coordination. Toilets were clean with functional geyser and flush and water in taps that can be an issue in best of gulmarg hotels. Staff was very friendly though not so efficient. Overall going by gulmarg and kashmir standards where value for money is missing in most hotels, this place is good.

A decent place to stay with good Heating both in bedrooms & washrooms as well. Would love to opt out breakfast & dinner buffets incase of next visit. Servicemen were friendly.

Pathetic condition of hotel. They don't provide you with water kettle, water doesnot come regularly in washroom. Very limited option for breakfast, glasses of windows are broken. Never book!

The room service helpline was unresponsive most of the time, during checkout i had to carry half of my luggage downstairs from the room, as no one was available on the desk.

The Property is so good and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this property to everyone

The stay was great , the staff are really cooperative and ready to help any time for accomodating any request . Special thanks to Mr. Tanweer who made us feel like home with his warm hospitality and welcoming nature. Hotel Welcome your name really goes woth your service. Only point to take care from hotel management side is to focus little on maintenance.Really recommended

Stay was fine, loaction was beautiful, nearby to market & gondola food was okayish! otherwise it's fine 3 star hotel to stay in

Room was average type but small for the price we paid. Food was really good though. Room - 3* food- 5* staff-5*
