Really impressed by the greenery of this resort and extreme polite behaviour of the staff. The rooms resemble small villas with a beautiful view of trees and plants throughout the hotel. The resort itself is very clean and the room is equipped with our every small need. Right from mini freezer to toilet kits, they have everything. The balcony is a cozy space to enjoy the beautiful view outside. The food is amazing and they have everything available on their menu. However, the portion is a bit less. Room service is very punctual and they take care of all our needs. The rooftop swimming pool is very well maintained and provides an amazing view of the outside area. Resort staff is very strict about their swimming pool etiquettes which makes the guest experience with the pool even better. I enjoyed every bit of my stay. No complaints. Everything was top notch.

Food was below average & very costly. Location was also interior with not much greenary around. Facilities & room was ok & as per expectations.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Udichi Residency from 4th to 6th July. We booked the Executive Room, and everything—from the check-in experience to the room quality—was absolutely spot on. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all amenities in place. But what stood out most was the warm and attentive service throughout our stay. The check-in was extremely smooth, and both the manager and the reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Hrithik at the front desk, who made sure everything went effortlessly. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning, which had a wide variety of options. Some additional protein choices besides eggs would be a great upgrade, but overall it was very satisfying. We didn’t try lunch, but for dinner, we had both Chinese and Indian cuisine. The Chinese dishes were fantastic—flavorful and well-cooked. However, the Indian menu could use some improvement both in taste and presentation. It wasn't bad, but it didn’t quite match the rest of the experience. Room service was top-notch—everything was delivered quickly without any delay. One small suggestion would be to include basic condiments like salt and pepper along with food service by default, though staff were quick to provide them on request. The property itself is a perfect getaway for a family leisure trip—plenty of greenery, peaceful ambiance, and well-maintained spaces. We explored the garden, pool area, and every corner of the resort—it’s serene and beautifully laid out. Staff behavior was exemplary throughout. Another special mention to Soumitra Sen, the head chef, whose warm, smiley greetings at the restaurant made us feel right at home. Overall, Udichi Residency offers excellent value for money, and we left with lovely memories. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bolpur/Shantiniketan for a relaxing family-friendly stay. Tip for future guests: Try the Chinese dishes at dinner—you won’t regret it!

The stay was average, and the food on the first day was good. However, the lunch on the second day wasn't good. All the food, except for the rice, was cold. The 'payesh' (rice pudding) was stale and spoiled. Because of this, I'm deducting 2 stars, giving a total of 3 stars.

The property was good and aesthetically designed..Food was fabulous and the chefs had expertise on all the food stuffs.. Special brownie points for them. Staffs were helpful and cordial..Good experience altogether..

We have stayed at udichi regency for 2 days. The property is tastefully decorated. The rooms are neat and clean and the food is very good. The service was flawless. There is actually no drawback i could find except that the location is a bit interior to main road. We had a very good stay and will come back again.

Nobody is available at reception till 8 am. Neither room service will respond till that time. Even if you require water you have to call somebody from the balcony to get the same or ask somebody to call from reception

we went to santiniketan in April.It was very hot outside.The resort was maintained very well.service was very prompt and good.It was a very nice experience staying at udichi regency.

The hotel udichi regency is a good property but little bit outside from market, room is good but size is medium and food is good. Overall i have enjoyed my tour

The room are not as it's shown in the pictures, wifi not working, bathroom are duty, and hotel staff are rude specially the reception manager. Terrible experience.

Nice and cozy property. The restaurant is also very good with lots of food options with the best part being their response to individual requirements.
