Review Of Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug, A Club Mahindra Associate

The property was good, however there were a lot of challenges. 1) Frequent Power cut. 2) AC doesn't autom seithes onnonce power is back. This caused sleepless night due to warm weather and sweating. 3) Fan was not working properly. It never went on full power even after switching to all modes which caused lot of inconvenience. 4) Initially TV was not working. Staff did fix it but the single was going away frequently, hence TV was also not usable. Good part was morning breakfast, which has lot of varities. Overall experience was ok type and didn't find value for money. hence average rating.

The Club Tropicana Alibaug property is absolutely beautiful, calm and green. The food was amazing. I recommend taking the 3 meal option, it's so convenient. The staff is well mannered and trained. All in all, a smooth trip. 🌸

location and property was good. but minibar in the room though was an inclusion ...was not available . housekeeping was horrible. we carried our own luggage to room there was shortage of staff and was not concerned too. very late service ...the phone needs to be dialled 4-5 times to get them connected

Property is good ,food was good but buffet very expensive, service bit slow , over all good experience

1. The stay was not worth the price. 2. The good dishes at the buffet often ran out and were not refilled. 3. In the villa we were staying there is an open air bath tub. It was dirty. even the shower tap was not working. 4. The road outside our villa was stinking. Looks like and uncleaned stinking drainage was either under or next to the road. 5. The lighting from the villa to the dining hall is very poor and the road is bad. Especially for seniors citizens. 6. When power trips even the taps in the bathroom run dry till about 3 to 4 minutes after the lights come back. This is bad if someone is using the shower. 7. I found many lights in the villa and outside 'on' 24 hours. Alot of power can be saved if timers are fixed so that the lights can come on during certain hours and also when someone is passing by. 8. Need to improve food ordering system from live counters. Chefs do not know which table has placed the orders. I placed an order for fried eggs and gave my table no to the chef. But the order never came

Checkin was seamless. Food and property is very well maintained. Courtier staff. Rooms are good but room service can be improved

The food was really good but its on a very expensive side. The staff is incredible and very cooperative. Loved the service given by the staff. Facilities and the entire property is well maintained. Overall it was a very excellent stay

Staffs were very polite, well maintained property, excellent food quality. Easy to locate. It was peaceful and joyable stay with family.

Pathetic service.. rooms are so old n not maintained.. not worth the price. To start with no welcome drink offered to half the guests as they were understaffed as told to me by a staff when asked. Rooms were shabby and without refrigerator (given when asked for) dustbin had dust all over it and looked like wasn't changed for a year. Anything we asked for towels change of room all took minimum half hour and three reminders before any action. Food was ok but dhaba food is better. Overall look of the resort looks good but a closer look will make u realise its just Half hearted attempt at keeping up the looks. Overall a 2 out of 10. 2 for the friendly staff

The stay and food was good. Hotel WiFi and electricity had constant issues, even the room door and locks were outdated and we were locked out . Need to improve on facilities by replacing with new ones. Support staff was very helpful.

. first of all it is not a star property as basic requirements like toothbrush, paste, hand towels, slippers, ironing board, mini fridge were not available.Its not a baby friendly resort, baby food was only khichdi that too didn't taste good, rice was uncooked. better carry your own baby foods for long stays. Normal food breakfast & dinner buffet was average, otherwise room service food was way more better than the buffet one. Property is too inside of main road & rikshaws charge 300 /350+ for nearby places ( no bargaining) they should atleast provide a buggy car till main road to customers. inside tracks shall be more lit. Rooms are clean, toilets need renovation and more cleanliness. property is well maintained. All Staff members are polite and helpful. In food and beverage section all staff were great at there work and prepared food as requested on live counters. Also, Mr.Ajay & Mr.Pratik were very helpful throughout our stay.

In Tropicana resort and spa , rooms were too small, cleanliness was not there. There was a fixed menu for breakfast for both days. The resort's swimming pool was good. The gym was too small.

Food was excellent But the room was allocated to us was average compared to it’s price, cockroaches 🪳 was there in wardrobe, smelly washroom Overall found overrated

I booked for 2 of us almost and my child at last minute. The property is amazing. Hospitality was number 1. Food options given for dinner were amazing (Dussera special) Breakfast had good options too. But i want to mention more points which can be implemented easily : 1 there was construction going on, coz of which the roads were full of dirt. 2 they had evening specials (but we were not aware of dj night) so they could inform at the time of check in for some specific events 3 the breakfast options given were in good number but repeated, if a long stay it doesn't attract much. Overall a great stay and enjoyed our stay every moment.

Spacious rooms and good food. Overall property is well manage. Staff is very polite and supportive. Large pool with all indoor games.

Strongly recommend Tropicanna resorts, Alibaug. Club Mahindra does an excellent job of ensuring that family experience is always a top priority. Overall great experience because of Aman, management trainees. He ensured that all needs were met with a large smile, Pranav excellent hard working professional. Madhavi ensured rooms were super clean. Thank you!! Resort management should applaud them for the good work they do to make experiences better

1) As soon as we entered the room, it smelled a very foul smell...the smell was of dirty water...very unhygienic. 2) The water was dripping on floor and was never ending...even you clean it, it used to appear again. 3) Although minibar was mentioned, there was not even the refrigerator nor the mini bar stuff. 4) The spa was good but toooo costly. Prices can be reduced substantially.

Overall experience was good. The property looks very beautiful. But some observations for better guest experience: - The pool was not clean, there were insects floating. - ⁠The staircase leading to the room 216 is in a very bad condition. - ⁠The room is spacious but amenities are not upto the mark. Like the kettle socket is very loose, water bottles, toothbrush etc was given upon request (it should have been there already) - ⁠Breakfast Experience should level up. In terms of the buffet spread. - ⁠I had booked my stay through MMT where it clearly mentioned the discounts on food, spa & laundry. However the restaurant still charged us the full amount. And at checkout i had to spend 15 mins just resolving this.
