I had a very disappointing and unsafe experience during my stay at The Summer House, Pachmarhi, booked through MakeMyTrip. The property description on MMT was highly misleading: 1. The rooftop restaurant mentioned was not functional. 2. No cycles were available in working condition despite being advertised. 3. Rooms and staff service were very poorly maintained. 4. Fungus and dampness were present on curtains, walls, and cushions. I am allergic to fungus, and this caused serious health issues during my stay. 5. The kids' play area was in a terrible condition, not maintained at all. The floor was covered with algae, which caused both my daughter and me to slip and fall. I got a knee injury, and my expensive phone worth ₹1 lakh was damaged in the incident. 6. The in-room phone was also non-functional. Overall, this stay was not just uncomfortable but also unsafe. The property listing on MMT is misleading, and I request MakeMyTrip to review such listings seriously so that other travelers don’t face such health and safety risks. when we complaint on MMT they said the supervisor will call us back and we haven't received any call yet.

I stayed at the summer house in Pachmarhi recently, and honestly, the experience was just okay. The rooms weren’t very spacious and I noticed spider webs here and there, which made it feel a bit unclean. The couch looked quite old and messy too. Parking was another problem since there wasn’t enough space inside and I had to leave my car on the road. For the price I paid, I don’t think it was really worth it. On the positive side, the food was absolutely awesome and the staff were genuinely nice and helpful, which did make the stay a bit better.

Hotel's location is very good, food is very delicious. But some points are not good such as they didn't offer us welcome drink as mentioned, and also they don't give mineral water bottles to the guests who book rooms.

Excellent property with all amenities like swimming pool, game rooms, lawns with cane chairs and seating area. The dining space was elegant with great buffet and lovely lounge music to give you company . The dining staff and housekeeping staff were very helpful and very attentive. The rest of the staff was very polite, prompt and attentive. The hotel is located on the main road in the Cantonment area . Excellent stay

The best thing about the hotel is it's location : far from noisy roads and traffic where you can be sure of absolutely no interference. The Hotel has been made with absolutely everything, it has pool, bonfire area, nice rooms, fine din3 area, arcade place and a really nice garden. The only thing you will regret is not staying for long enough.
