we stayed for one night at this hotel. the staff was polite, rooms are neat and clean. bathroom was clean with good flow of hot water for shower , even early morning at 4 a.m. all in all a good experience. we had a comfortable stay.

The stay at Ocean Pearl Udupi was amazingly comfortable, The staff is very good and the hospitality is amazing. The cleanliness is top notch and rooms are very cozy.

While the rooms at the Ocean Pearl, Udupi are clean and our overall stay was pleasant, the dinner experience we hosted here completely ruined any possibility of us returning. We hosted a private dinner for 27 guests at Ocean Pearl, Udupi, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Firstly, we were charged for 32 people without any explanation or prior notice — a clear case of overbilling. More shockingly, the air conditioning at the venue was not functional, and the staff failed to inform us in advance. Our guests were visibly uncomfortable, sweating throughout the dinner and complaining — it was incredibly embarrassing for us as hosts. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, including the so-called F&B head Mr. Prem, the response was appalling. His attitude was arrogant and dismissive, and there was absolutely no sense of responsibility or urgency to address the issue. The lack of basic hospitality and courtesy from the staff shows a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. The Ocean Pearl Udupi seriously needs to train their team and instill some professionalism — especially in their senior staff. We expected a smooth, pleasant evening and were left frustrated and embarrassed instead. Would not recommend this venue for any private gatherings. This one poor experience has ensured we won’t be returning, nor recommending it to anyone looking for a reliable venue for private events.
