overall stay was excellent and familiar. Food and services are also excellent Various type of food available in stay Total experience was excellent

it was a horrible night for me. although caretaker were very humble and supportive. but the person who was there in one of the bed was making large norse snoring and it was un bearable. atlast i took blanket and pillow, came to balcony and slept in sofa. no other option i will recommend every Individual who are looking for zostel, please go for separate individual room.

The Bougainvillea is a really nice and cozy property near the Main Square. The host is kind and friendly and helps you check in hassle free. The close proximity to the main markets is a huge advantage. The Dalai Lama Temple Complex is a 10 min walk away in one direction and the Main Square, where you can also get Auto Rickshaws is a 10 min walk away in the other direction. If arriving by the Dharamshala Skyway, it will take you approximately 10 minutes to reach there by foot. The markets and restaurants surround the area and there are plenty of tourist agencies where you can book a scooter or a bike if you are interested in that. Local restaurants offer really nice food and restaurants like Subway and Dominos are close by as well. The rooms themselves are very clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. We visited during the winter months and they have blowers available to warm up the place. There is a water heater in the bathroom but it does have a limited capacity and you will likely encounter chilling water within the first few minutes of a shower if travelling in the winters. Soap and Shampoo are also provided. Getting to the stay is a bit confusing as it is not on the main road. You will need to go down a long staircase to get there and do the climb again when you wish to leave. We were unable to find an alternative route as we had less time. Aged people and people with a lot of luggage may face difficulties getting up and down. This wasn't a major problem for us however.

No parking space you have to almost walk for about 1 km to reach the hotel. If you are travel-ling with your old parents its not meant for you difficult to reach other wise the hotel is really nice.

Rooms were clean and nice. Every facility necessary was available inside the room. The receptionist was helpful and courteous. Only issue for some would be downward and upward trek via steps which is kinda significant. So unless your knees r creaking or your too old for the game this is a nice hotel solo or family at a very reasonable price. Also the market is very very close which is a complete plus. Recommended

The overall stay experience was fantastic. Good hospital by the staff. Rooms are clean and staff was polite. Will come back in future

This property is located in the lap of mcleodganj ,amazing from the tarrice, also the food quality and teste loved it with affordability I can say this is the best place to stay

I had an amazing stay at the bougainvillea in mcleod ganj! the staff went above and beyond to make my experience memorable. The majestic view of the dhauladhar range from the balcony and terrace was breathtaking. The hotel's central location allowed easy walking access to the dalai lama temple, main market, and bhagsu. Highly recommend this gem for a delightful and convenient stay in mcleod ganj!

This was a really nice property with well designed rooms and thoughtful facilities like hairdryers in rooms as well. The rooms are beautiful, and have big, large balconies facing the triund mountain. I mainly chose the room because of the view from the room. Another advantage was that the property is really close to the market area and i could easily walk to the market whenever i felt like.
