The rooms were good, but the service standards need to be improved. There was no light or electricity in the night and we were sweating in the room and no way to reach any body at reception, there are no back up invertor or generator. There was no intercom in the room had to depend on the whatsapp msg which were replied only next day morning. Whole night kids and our selves had to sleep with out light. That was quite a dissappointennt. On breakfast, it was taking too long as there was only one waiter and he was also forgetting. No glass, no cutlery were placed on table till we asked even after food was served. It was disappointing. The room service was bad a d basic necessities were not provided and had to ask. The only thing children liked was the view from the room. We won't visit again to the 14 gables hotel. We wanted to book anantmaya hotel but we missed the room bookings. It has excellent service and the staff are good.
