Overpriced property considering the quality of rooms and services prov
Not happy, although the staffs are friendly. They stopped water supply at night. Ac was not working at night. Considering the quality of the rooms and the service provided, this property is overpriced. Also, the location is much inside the alleys, difficult to find. No in-house food, but to order and get it delivered from a far-away restaurant, which serves extremely spicy food and this results into a stomach upset. So, this option is not recommended.

Excellent Stay
My stay here was very positive because the room and washroom were very well maintained and the manager sujit was really very helpful. If had chance to visit varanasi again, i would book the same guest house. Moreover, major ghats were very nearby just walking distance.

Good Stay
The experience was good, sujit ji and nitesh ji the care takers of tara guest house their hospitality was. Very nice, it was a great experience all together.

Good place, not so good caretaker
The place is nice, owner one of the most wonderful people i have met. Sujeet, one of the caretakers was very understanding and cooperative. The other person i guess doesn't like his job and make us understand us. One thing, do make sure to take your complementary water bottle or you will be accused of being ignorant, like we did and will not get that water bottle finally. I guess 1 person can spoil your experience with a good place.

Fabulous Stay
This Guest House is in Prime Location, just opp Line to Bengali Toli School, very near to Andhra Ashram and to iconic Famous Ghats. Property owner is very humble and upgraded my room to spacious one . Rooms are Neat and clean and also has Dining table with in the room. Washroom is very clean. over all I had Fabulous stay with Tara Guesthouse. I'll refer this hotel to my friends and I'll prefer to stay in this hotel in my future Banaras Visits. Om Namah Shivaya...

Location is great but rooms are too compact and hygiene is bare minimum
The host changed the location to a different location saying he is upgrading the reservation. After going to this location i felt like this is degradation of reservation.

Owner and staff were really nice and accommodative

About room
All rooms so cold due to heavy leakage. We are requesting change room and given another one but owner not responding, we are so boring, our money have wastage.

Home comfort at Tara Guest House.
familyLocated in the heart of old City, Tara Guest House is one cozy little corner that gives you the warmth of home. The owner and his brother helped us with everything that we asked for. And if you are staying there, do try the food they have to offer. The homemade food is simply delicious.

Clean, stylish, homely
The host was very welcoming, explained a lot about the area, some history and what to do. Location was great, facilities wonderful and so relaxing. Very attentive service. The host is always ready to solve any kind of problem guest faced. He Quickly arranged for doctor when my father told him about back pain. Thanks a lot. I hope that I will come back one day to enjoy the home away from my home.

Good stay
Property approach is through a KHATAL. Anyway good stay. Our check out day the manager was kind enough to keep our luggage in a safe and secured place. When we returned from our visit from Sri Kasi Viswanath, we could refresh ourselves with the permission of the manager. Thanks again.
