Review Of Gulab home stay

The property room is good for bachelor and family also. The is situated in 3rd floor it is uneasy to carry luggages for old age peoples. Other than that property is situated just 3 to 4 km away from temple. No display board, after i and friends reached varanasi we called manager to reach gulab home stay in, he respond me in polite manner and send me a location to reach home stay.

Room was too small. Not cleaned at all. Bathroom was very small and dirty

Not at all good and I don’t recommend to anyone, the support staff not responding properly,we have to go all the way 3rd floor without lift.

not bad but not so good, you can improve more, and you must check your room before allotting to a family or person.

Room are good but situated at 3rd floor and lift not available so this is bad and if u have luggage and old persons so don't stay here please

The property is located near durgakund in varanasi the host is very helpful and cooperative as we booked the rooms host send us the live location on WhatsApp we called the host after reaching varanasi he helped us with the auto price and proper location that helped us in bargaining with the auto drivers auto will drop you infront of the gate no problem in reaching the property. Our train was reaching varanasi station at night so we had early check-in after informing the host so there was no issue in that we paid a minimal amount for early check-in we had booked bedroom 7 it is very spacious for 2 people it has a big bed in which 3 people can sleep easily inhouse food is also available for some charge if you require you can order from any food delivering platform it will reach to your drop step we had a washroom beside the room with geyser for hot water washroom and room were all very neat and clean with no bugs,insects or anything we stayed in room for 2 days and didn't face any issue the host has organized one caretaker also who opens door whenever you come weather it's late night or early morning the place is near to durgakund so you can take a magic auto and reach to durgakund where you have some must visit temples and then you can auto from durgakund to any place you want to visit example Kashi, gadowlia, kalbhairav, varanasi cant and ghats overall it was a very good place for stay.

1. Property is old and there is no proper instruction on how to reach there. No signboards or display signs. I have to hassle through Varanasi traffic from about an hour and have to contact property to get their location on whatsapp. Also, They dont have parking. 2. Property owner has no idea about my booking and I have to present my booking id in order to get confirmation for my rooms. 3. ⁠The rooms that I selected is totally different from what I was given. Upon confronting this with owner, He gave excuses. 4. ⁠Room was not clean with only one washroom available for 5 of our members. 5. ⁠No Mineral water was given. Owner gave us two bottle with no seal cap, We have to buy water from outside shop. 6. No Towels or soaps were provided, Toilet jet was not working, Washroom doesn’t have proper flooring, water gets logged in and outside washroom area. 7. ⁠To sum up, It is not worth 3700 rupees for one night to stay in this homestay plus they don't 24*7 services of any kind as well. Main Door gets locked at 10 pm and you have to call caretaker every time in order to get something. or if you want to go outside. 8. ⁠Not recommended to anyone at this price.

The property is a bit far from varanasi station but we have auto services available for the property from the station the area is well-known so no issues in finding the property the host had already shared the location on whatsapp so it was very easy to reach the property. The host is very helpful and shared the fares of auto for the property from the station so that we can bargain with the auto drivers we had done early check-in as our train reached early at night the host was very cooperative and gave the early check-in with minimum charges. The room we had booked was bedroom 7 with shared bathroom and it was very good with plenty of space there were 3 beds so for 2 people it was very much self - sufficient space room, bed, washroom was neat and clean the room was fully prepared for us before we arrived the location geyser is also available for hot water the host was friendly and helped as with the travel-ling guide for the places we wanted to visit and there were no issues in 2 days stay at this place you can order food from any food delivery platform it will be available at doorstep. You can explore the city and come home at anytime there is no time constraints for opening doors or anything overall it was a very good experience
