Shortage of good hotels is a blessing in disguise for surya heritage. magnet is a good hotel in kannur and is 80% worth the money we pay there but in surya heritage only 50% worth the money. Old heritage building and old roofing and charm, thats all.staff is not trained well, there is no buffet brkfast its ala carte and its tasteless. Lunch thali and fish special are total nonsense. Clams are good. At the bar lawn area service is good . Chicken and beef was good. Chapathi is like dried paper and so is appam. I paid 14 k inclusive tax for 2 days. I would say it is worth only 8 k. Lighting is poor in hallways and inside rooms. Shaving mirror is not litup properly and there is no close up mirror too to shave. Switching on geyser 15 min prior to bath is too much irritation for the money we pay

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were extremely courteous and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The food was of great quality with a good variety of options to choose from, catering to different tastes. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

coupleHotel is a converted heritage property with a homely touch and personalized touch. Staff is very cooperative and responsive. However it does not have hotel ambience and rooms are little smaller. Nevertheless service is excellent and food quality is good and rates very reasonable

We had a very comfortable stay at surya heritage, kannur. This is the third time we are staying at surya heritage. The team at surya is excellent, very professional and make us feel comfortable. The food is excellent and authentic irrespective of the cuisine you prefer. A big salute to the chef.

Had a very good stay at surya heritage. Rooms are neat and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and polite. Will surely reccomend this place. Wish we got more time to spend at the hotel. Had dinner at the restaurant & food was fresh & excellent.

coupleThis is a heritage property and they have maintained the same old structure but have renovated it with very careful details on not compromising on the heritage aesthetics. The staff, especially sneha and mathew were very cordial and helpful. Food was excellent and we did invite a few guests to their restaurant and they were delighted. All in all a wonderful experience and highly recommended this property

The gm of the property : mr manu takes personal interest in the well-being of the residents he is ably assisted by ms shilpa at the reception, who is quite pleasing the food in the restaurant is outstanding especially their fish fry will always return to continue enjoying my stay in this heritage property
