I am extremely disappointed with the resolution provided. I request you to kindly keep your INR 300 voucher—it holds no value compared to the time, comfort, and experience that were completely ruined during my two-day stay, which I had booked with full trust in the MakeMyTrip platform.
Let me reiterate:
I booked a Room + Breakfast package, and breakfast was denied on Day 1, and only after repeated follow-ups on Day 2, a burnt and inedible meal was handed to me.
Room amenities were not provided, and staff behavior was rude and uncooperative.
The hotel enforced restrictions on outside food, locked the gate by 10 PM, and failed to offer even the basic courtesy expected from any hospitality provider.
Your platform has failed to conduct adequate quality checks on listed properties.
This wasn’t a cancellation or a change of mind—it was a case of services not being provided as promised at the time of booking. Hence, calling this a “non-refundable booking” is a convenient escape and completely unacceptable.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had a poor experience using your platform. I previously faced cockroach infestation and service issues during my Guwahati stay booked via MakeMyTrip as well, which clearly shows that such incidents are not isolated.
As a loyal customer who has trusted MakeMyTrip multiple times, I expected better. I am not looking for pity vouchers, but a genuine refund for the services that were paid for and not delivered.
If this is the standard your platform stands by, I’m sorry to say this is the last time I’ll ever use MakeMyTrip. Please consider this my formal request for a refund and a final escalation.
