The property is in manon, about 7 kms from kasauli cantt. And main market. It has breathtaking views of the valley and the sunsets from this property are mesmerizing. There are 2 rooms on the first floor of the property and the ground floor has the other room and the living, dining and kitchen. It is well maintained, very hygienic and spacious. All rooms are well lit and the big glass panes ensure that you get a view of the beautiful valley below. The caretakers have an outhouse below the ground floor and are excellent cooks and housekeepers. We had sumptuous meals (north indian cuisine) and snacks throughout our stay. The meals may look pricy but we've always liked and preferred home cooked fresh food. There are no major shops (grocery etc) or restaurants nearby so bear in mind that you may need to travel 20 mins to get stuff, but mostly the property is self sufficient. It is very quiet and far away from the bustle of kasauli and that adds to its charm.

Average stay and not worth the price we paid

Although the state is big enough and accessible, we felt that it was not up to the mark of what we paid for. We paid roughly and the stay was not that clean in terms of windows, railings, etc. The Windows and switch boards were dusty. The breakfast was also pretty average. It was just like home-cooked food. For dinner they are charging ₹600 per person which we felt was quite expensive for home cooked food.

The caretakers and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. The home was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The winter-line 3 bhk independent villa @ kasauli is is bful place to stay. Specifically it is easily accessible by elders. No stairs. No slopes. Road level parking and access. Bful nature view and aesthetically maintained interiors.

Nice place, away from the places of interest

Good place, comfortable, spacious rooms, balcony and a sit out terrace overlooking the valley, homely environment, food made to order and taste. The only dampener is the distance from the market, points of interest. The road from kasauli to the property is small and not a comfortable ride. But if the plan is to stay put for your stay in the villa and not venture out, this is the place for you.
