Review Of Stay Banaras | A Boutique Stay

We got an upgrade on the rooms from standard room to delux room. The rooms were quite nice and cozy. The non standard rooms are instagrammable. Staff was helpful but a bit laid back. The resturant serves very tasty food. The veg preparation was much better than the non-veg preparation. Would recommend veg jalfarezi, yellow dal and dal makhni. Now coming to the drawbacks - the bathroom fittings are of cheap quality and not well maintained. The bathtub in suite was so ill fitted that it almost tumbled. When we reached the property, the lift was not functioning. It took them 48 hours to get it fixed. They do not have any local contact for lift maintenance. Room service is quite slow. Overall it was an average stay.

I really enjoyed staying at Stay Beneras boutique hotel... It has a very positive vibe. The staff is very polite and courteous. Food is equally good in taste quality portion size and presentation. All in all 5/5 as far as satisfaction level. Rooms are well maintained too. They are installing lift also for added comfort.

The room was full of cockroaches and insects. management is not at all bothered to maintain the basic hygiene of the room. it was a terrible stay. The seat of the toilet was broken/defective. I literally fell from the seat and got badly hurt.

The overall stay was pleasant. Though the rooms are small with a very little space for movements. The hotel had a power issue for some time during the night. Food was okay. Breakfast was good. People are friendly and helpful in nature. Happy about it

Very pretty boutique and tasty food. Good location in Sigra. The walls and furniture were giving a touch of Banaras.

Breakfast : decent spread but does not include any without onion garlic items. Room service: reasonably priced, though limited options, and operating hours rooms: recommend taking deluxe bed, bigger ones have their own challenges, newer construction, bath tub plumbing issues, awnings under repair etc. property: heads-up, no elevator. small & sweet hotel, their restaurant has good vibe service: prompt and polite, though unfortunate that we had to ask for anything to be done, from cleaning to repairs. everything from phone to fridge had to be attended. location: not near ghats or market, not uptown like cantt area. special mention to the manager Rohit Tiwari who helped many arrangements for our trip around the city from providing contacts, to giving tips!

I had to check out even before my check out date and move to another property, looks great in pictures, the rooms are too claustrophobic, no space , bathrooms are too small , also painting work was going on, smell of the paint, the noise of labors continued. Also the car drops you outside , the restaurant does not have a entry space, you have to walk in, also difficult to find a commute

Very good management of the property. clean rooms and good food. restaurant vibes also very different from the all day pilgrimage excursions. The staff Rohitji, Shrishti very helpful with any local queries you may have. watchmen also helpful in getting auto at all times of day and night.

It was excellent experience. Mr. Rohit the manager of the hotel is competent and courteous. He was accommodative and went out of way to make our stay as much comfortable as possible. Thanks
