Review Of Singge Palace Hotel

Very comfortable place and great amenities. Spacious room and a large bathroom. Very close to the leh main market. Not a great view from most rooms though as there is construction ongoing all around (no noise but).

The room given to us initially was on 4th floor. When we reached the room, it was not clean and dust was under the table and under the bed. When I informed housekeeping they said FLOOR was opened only this morning. The staff then again started cleaning. I went down to talk to the manager, the receptionist was non chalant , no reaponse, just " so Sorry" upon raising hue and cry I found the manager and he offered to change the room. The other room on 1 st floor was fine. Poor show as far as staff response is concerned. I hope they educate their reception and housekeeping staff. The room given to us initially was on 4th floor. Hotel was undergoing maintenance. The rooms were old styled and food was not great. Service though was very good

Very conveniently located, however the property is in need of some love & care. Property is old, however service was very prompt.

The location of singe palace is very convenient, very close to the main market place. The service was very prompt, rooms were beautifully maintained. Food was good too. Overall very satisfied with my stay. 5

Very prompt service and courteous staff.

1. Buffet breakfast is totally zero. You can have better options in 2 star hotel rather this so called 3 star. 2. Bedding of the hotel is quite old now. Uni- maintained. Very uncomfortable.

My wife and i stayed at singe two separate times in may 2023. 1. Its location is excellent, right about 50 yards from the leh market 2. All required facilities - particularly heating in leh - are top class 3. Rooms are large sized and well equipped - tv, intercom, attached bath, kettle for tea/coffee, minibar, hot water 24x7, etc. 4. Food is great too - only that north indians like us found it trifle less masaledar for our taste. But buffet choices are wide and well arranged 5. Service is top notch. We'd in particular single out dike at the front desk, surjit singh in the dining hall and u bi in housekeeping for special mention. While all the staff seemed eager to please, these three were just too polite and helpful all the time hugely recommended for everyone!

Singe palace is about 8 minutes drive from the leh airport, thus easy to reach. More importantly, it’s located barely 50 yards from the main leh market, so very close to the main area of action. The property has about 40 rooms and most are very comfortable and functional. All amenities are well taken care of - housekeeping is efficient and prompt, front desk is polite and courteous, beds, rooms, bathrooms are large, clean and comfortable. One important aspect that not many people check for but is vitally important in leh is the heating in the hotel as also in the rooms. Singe palace is centrally heated plus there are individual additional, large radiator based heaters in each room. So you can feel completely at home even in sun-zero leh temperatures. Dining room is large, breakfast buffet is ample, quality of food and beverages is uniformly great. There’s parking available and security is well taken care of. All in all, highly recommended hotel for a 4-star stay in leh.

It was a great experience. We had some medical emergencies, but the collaborations were seen, but the hotel was kind enough to help us. They even had oxygen cylinders and a doctor on call who helped us a lot.

Nice location. Adjacent to the main market area of leh. Food preparation is very good. Breakfast variety is quite sufficient. Amicable and helping staff. Daily room cleaning is very good. Rooms are quite spacious. Room service is excellent.

Location: the property is 6 minutes of a walk away from the main leh market, so everything that you possibly need in the city is available to you at almost a moment's notice! food: the kitchen team, ably led by the man they know as the "captain, is amazing! right from their beverages to all food items, the quantity and quality is more than enough for anyone! hygiene and safety: the team has managed the hotel very well!

Good staff and clean rooms, washrooms, floors

I paid for their “superior deluxe” rooms and initially got sent to the smallest room possible with no possibly open-able windows. Next when i requested for some view i got assigned another room which they said had the “garden view” which basically meant no view again since everyone inside the hotel could look in if i opened my window. If that was indeed a “superior deluxe room” it was still small, it had little or no facilities. The TV did not work it had to be checked everyday. It was the third day that i got the TV remote before which only the tata sky remote was available. The room didn’t have dental kit, slippers or even electric kettle. Electric kettle was provided on the 3rd day and i was flying off on 4th day. The second towel was removed from the second day onwards and never found again. The doors did not seem secure at all. The room did not have adequate lighting. I had to squint hard to sign on my dinner bills. The walls were so thin that i could hear conversations from the room next door. I did try checking with the hotel reception multiple times if there was an error with the room but they started quoting some rooms which were not even mentioned. Being a solo 36 yr old female traveler who was venturing out on my own for the first time, i didn’t want to create a ruckus about the room since i was alone. The one good thing was proximity to the market. Will never stay in this property when i go back and would not recommend it to anyone. The breakfast was fine but the dinners i had were good on both days but the room was just not worth the money i had spent.

I do like the room and 1st day the heater was not working and we suffered terrible cold chillness at ñight. the blankets were not enough to keep us warm.

This property is not worth 6k per night. The parking area was a mess. The staff behaviour was unacceptable. It looks like they are polite but you can clearly feel their nonchalant attitude. Over promised under delivered.
