Review Of SET Residency

This hotel is very nearer to Kumbakonam Main Bustand. Food in this hotel is very nice. Providing A/c, Hot water, WiFi uninterrupted. Only issue I personally felt is that bed is very much soft and not getting flat sleeping position.

The property attached to the wedding hall, staff not trained to take care of the guests! Parking had amble space but it’s an open area with bad floors littered with construction materials.

shown images were not matched with actual rooms provided to us. rooms not much cleaned and given room was congested.

Property was well maintained from hallways to bathrooms, no smoking smells, beds were clean and AC was working well and truly they had a good parking area

Good room with AC, superb room service. Overall comfortable experience and very near to bus stand.

Stay is good

Nice place to stay and travel locally. Proximity to railway station. Breakfast was provided and it was good.

Though the set residency rooms are spacious. Floor, bathrooms, fixtures are old and outdated. One foul smell is coming in hotel and i couldnt figure it out. Centipedes are there in the bathroom and i had to shift my room also. Thanq

Hotel location is near by bus stand. Breakfast ok. Rooms are spacious. But toilet cleaning need to be improved. Ramadas

The hotel rooms are not good. Maintenance is so poor. I not recommend this hotel and its not worth for the price

The rooms were very spacious and close to kumbakonam bus stand and ad i kumbeshwarar temple with ample car parking. The restaurant has a limited menu and the food was good.

I stayed for two days at this hotel which is in the 60 feet road, kumbakonam. We stayed in the month of december and hence the climate was good, but the sad thing is the ac is running at 16 degrees and there is no chillness. I complaint to the executives and a person came and adjusted the settings in the ac remote and told that its fixed and again we spent a night without chillness in ac. The next day, we complaint again and they adjusted the ac remote again. Finally, we vacated the hotel without using the ac, but paid for the ac. Food was good, but too pricey. There are other hotels closer to the town had less price. Ample car parking was there. Wi fi is too slow and our 4g/5g was faster. (standard hotel practice, in our experience, includes refilling water bottles daily for each registered guest, regardless of previous day usage. This hotel also deviated from this expectation, providing only one bottle for three of us for the second day. When we ask for our extra share of water bottles, they give a different look as if we asked for an extra bottle. Many hotels don't follow this ethics)

Set residency kumbakonam satisfies travellers wanting to go around the temple town and nearby locations. It is conveniently located near the bus stand and railway station. The rooms are neat and clean. Good a/c. Breakfast with south indian options is very good. The staff are very friendly and very responsive to all needs. If you are driving down there is plenty of parking with security round the clock. Very comfortable stay for a 2-3 day trip. Recommended for families as well

Set residency: pros: location is very near to bus stand and quick response for the needs. Cons: room was not clean enough and not maintained properly. This may be due to age of the building. Renovation is going on. Viha inn serviced apartments: pros: well maintained and clean. Location is very calm. Cons: no kettle or any options for getting tea or coffee.

The hotel location and services both were very good. Cordial and helpful staff but food was not so great

Excellent hospitality, just really kind staff - we were truly touched by their service. I would like to especially mention “muslin” one of the employees who is so hard working and made every part of our stay comfortable.

They charge 3000+ but it’s not even worth paying 300. The rooms are dirty, bed spread are so unhygienic, bad smell in the rooms, toilets are slippery, mosquitoes inside the room.

Avoid this hotel comfortably. Heavy construction at the site, bad hygiene and low quality service from check in to check out
