Raya's Grand

We stayed in this Raya's Grand for 4 nights. Had booked 2 rooms so they provided us with link room. The kids enjoyed being in link rooms going in each room easily and playing. The rooms were spacious, neat and clean. Beds, mattresses were in good condition and was comfortable to sleep. Rooms have centralized AC and ceiling fan. Hot water available in bathroom 24 hours. Inside bathroom as well they have kept ceiling fan which is good during summer. Room service was prompt. Highly recommended Raya's Grand for stay purpose. This would be my first preference to stay whenever I visit Kumbakonam. Also would suggest this Raya's Grand to my relatives and friends. Things which can be improved:- They do room cleaning only when guests are there, so it really sometimes wastes our time staying there and looking at their cleaning. We visit Kumbakonam to visiting temples etc, so wasting time to check room cleaning feels avoidable. Thus, I would request Raya's Grand management to see if they can do room cleaning when we are not there. Another thing to improve is - they provide only one water bottle per room per day. They can increase it to either 2 or 3 bottles as per the people staying in room, considering hot summer weather conditions. I have already provided the detailed review

Good Hotel centrally located in Kumbakonam. All important Temples, shopping and station nearby within few kms. Rooms are large & clean. Linen is clean. Room service is efficient. Marble floors are polished regularly. The only negative is that they have a restaurant which is attached apparently leased to a third party where the quality of food is bad. If they can take corrective action on this aspect it will be a top class Raya's Grand. They can also improve by having a travel desk attached as most customers are tourists.

Excellent stay in Ray's grand,next to big tank,seeing many gopurams from our room.food awsome,kumbakonam degree coffee,no chace,will go again to drink the coffee and divine location.easy accessibility to all temples.good staffs ,nice service.recommend for everyone to stay in kumbakonam.worth for your money.nice experience. thank you rayas grand and makemy trip.

Property is at the heart of the town and very nearer to the temples,neatly maintained food is excellent at the restaurant.Small request you please provide wi-fi connection. I was stayed in room no; 111 from 27.01.25 to 29.01.25.very nice service. We purchased two kuthu vilakku of hight four feet at natchiarkoil. PURUSHOTHAMAN

Lovely location. Stayed in premier room facing the kasi Visvanathan temple Gopuram. Ample closed car parking. Delicious breakfast. Rooms spacious and well maintained including common areas with nice seating arrangements in 2 nd floor.
