Would you like to have an awesome experience on your next vacation? Ridhabhi Homestay stands out with regards to hospitality, breathtaking views, cleanliness, hygiene, lip-smacking cuisine and adorable staff, which includes a wonderful family. Nestled in the quaint town of Mashobra (near Shimla), this place is apt for travellers looking for peace amidst nature. The off-road journey of 4 kilometres towards the homestay is quite mesmerizing. Away from the conventional and exhausted destination, Shimla, Ridhabhi is definitely a must visit. Named after the host's (Saroj Aunty and Rajesh Uncle's ) lovely children, Riddhi and Abhinav, this place has everything from Saroj Aunty's super-amazing food, scenic views of the homestay with 360 degree view of the forest, pick and drop services, short hikes and, not to forget, the endless, warm conversations around evening bonfires. My fianceé and I didn't want to leave. However, life has to go on, and we had to leave reluctantly. Undoubtedly, this has become our favourite getaway and we look forward to coming to this wonderful place every year. If the aforementioned piece hasn't convinced you enough, let me give you a snippet of our stay. So, we stayed there from the 19th to 26th of December. We got a good deal for the same, compared to other places. Furthermore, Rajesh Uncle was kind enough to pick and drop us to and from the Mashobra bus stand since we didn't have our own vehicle. They aren't greedy for money like other alternatives. This really touched our hearts. When we checked into our room, we were surprised as that big a room costs double in nearby places. Even the food that we ordered was impeccable. These guys really feed you well, while following a no wastage policy. This was quite impressive. They also adhere to the waste management norm of segregating wet and dry waste. This was quite impressive, considering the fact that mountains are also facing environmental threat. Besides, they have an entertainment zone equipped with a pool table and other board games. There's so much to do here within the property. You won't get bored. We took short hikes to the nearby temple, school, village, forest and waterfall. We even planted trees on my birthday on 20th December with Rajesh Uncle. Throughout our stay, we didn't feel, even for a second that we were away from our home. As clichéd as it may sound, this place is indeed a home away from home. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Ridhabhi team - Saroj Aunty, Rajesh Uncle, Rajesh bhaiya, Riddhi and Abhinav for making our stay memorable. Much love to all of you. May this place grow leaps and bounds.
