Review Of Rachana's Black Beach Resort

This property is Great at prime locatio near Varkala Beach, havjng good Rooms for fanily confortable stay , pool , spa.. Manager and staff are also very good and Cooperative ... I recommend Rachanas Black Beach Resort for family stay....

The location is the highlight, it's just 100 metres from the black sand beach. The restaurant they have is the beach is awesome

Hotel rooms are in pathetic condition and staff are not supportive Be careful

The room was not clean and some insect was crawling in the room, after multiple calls nobody came to clean the room.

Nice rooms,excellent warming and friendly staffs...swimming pool and compilimendry food is awasome...

Room is so untidy... very bed sheets are so ugly and room size is also so small we book for three paxes for aks for king size bed ... due to bed smell May flys are in the room ... I never suggest this bite to any one staff are also very rood ....my one day spoiled

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was not up to expectations. The first room I was given had no working door locks, which raised safety concerns. After bringing this to their attention, I was moved to another room, but that room also had issues with the lock, making it feel unsafe and uncomfortable. In addition to the lock issues, the cleanliness of the rooms was below par. The overall look and feel of the room did not justify the price I paid. For the rate, I expected better quality in terms of both comfort and hygiene

The overall experience was below expectations. The pictures shown online were quite different from the actual room. The TV was not working, and even after informing the staff, the issue was not resolved. Only one towel, one soap, and one bottle of water were provided despite a booking for two guests. Basic amenities like toilet paper and tissue paper were missing. There were even cockroaches on the bed. While the exterior of the hotel looked good and matched the pictures, the inside of the room was not up to the mark. The bathroom door also did not close properly. Overall, a very disappointing experience in terms of room quality and maintenance. However, I would like to appreciate the staff for being polite and cooperative throughout the stay.

The room was good but the windows are not properly closable. Or i think someone from outside can see what we doing. They do not have a bar and restaurant. It is located in a different place

Overall the hotel was good and atmosphere is nice.... especially the staff , reception team was excellent.... I ain't got any food from the hotel to explore so don't know abt the food , the washroom expectation didn't match my imagination.... the faucet wasn't that good leaking a little bit , but the stay was excellent 👌 worth it..... mainly the property site which will be more helpful for people who looking for comfortability and travel prefference.... anyway thank-you for everything

The location of property is good, Just 3 minutes walk to beach. Breakfast was provided in Black beach resort which was average which included Dosa,Chutneyand sambar(good), Upmav and chena Dal( Average), Bread ,jam and butter, coffee and tea...sitting near the beach side and enjoying breakfast was an awesome experience in the morning. About the room....don't expect too much....I have booked AC room and it was not up to the level. Rooms and Toilets are not maintained properly...not so clean....very old coir bed was provided...which was very hard. Toiletries included 1 small soap, shampoo,body lotion ,conditioner. Kettle, teabags,coffee pack etc were not provided. Separate swimming pool for adults and kids are available. Hot water for bathing is not available during day time....At night hot water was available . Overall stay was average.....

The stay was good, no problems with all the amenities, it was located so near to the cliff and accessible from all the cafes. Had ample parking space and very supportive staff.

Food was not good, very less options and quality and taste were also not good. Location was great, as it was near the beach. The property overall was not impressive, door locks were jammed. Room service not easily available as the numbers and phone didn’t work. No differential deluxe rooms, all same.

Please do not book this place. Bad furniture, broken furniture, room service is not good. For food you need to walk for 5 mins to reach the restaurant. They have multiple properties but have a common restaurant. They do not provide sufficient towels or refill water bottles unless requested. There are many other properties near the sea side which are much better at a decent price.

Very very poorly mainted rooms.. with full of smoke smells and no mat all in the rooms..swimming pool was ok.. 4feet overall depth..

The property is located near to beach, around 100 m only. Food is average and little bit costly. Room is just average, pool is there that is only plus point. Overall its average only

Perfect for travelers who want easy beach access, a nice pool, and a peaceful atmosphere, as long as you don’t expect luxury standards.
