SS Beach Resort

location is the major selling point of this hotel as its near helipad area. but the rooms are small and the bathroom is even more congested. there is no working lift which is bit of a nuisance if you are on higher floor. Nearby entries are available. Hotel provides basic toiletries and hot water jug with tea , coffee, sachets.

location very gud food was normal not much tasty amenities and services were 2 gud staff people were very nice in short loved the stay....!!!😎

The room was small and did not meet expectations for comfort. Basic amenities were missing — no essential toiletries like toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, or moisturizer were provided, which made it very inconvenient. Only one bottle of mineral water was offered, which was insufficient. Additionally, the AC was dusty, making the room feel unclean and uncomfortable. Overall, the experience did not feel worth the price. I expected better service and attention to essential details. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.

The hotel is situated just beside the north cliff. Rooms are well maintained. There was no window, only a small Seaview glass screen. Food options are very limited. No breakfast options as well.

Resort is at perfect place near helipad which gives accessibility to cliff, beach and transportation

Stay was good, rooms are little small, but food is little expensive, but hotel manager is good and polite and friendly. But for room service, resturant have very few people for service

The stay was ok. very close to the clif. we don't get proper hot water It is very like normal water. except all working well.

We were given room 306 and got ant bite. Bed had small ants and we reported this to receptionist and they had us moved to 307. Upon checking the 307 had same issue of ants in bed. They again moved us back to 306 and changed sheets. All this had spoiled our day. Please note varkala now (jun 2024) was closed.

The property location was great, very near to the cliff, that's the greatest advantage. Rooms are just ok only. During our stay at night, we did face power failure intermittently and that was a big problem for us. We could not sleep well because of the intermittent power failure.

No proper response from the receptionist, we will wait more than 1 hour to get the room, after we asked 4 to 5 times only they started cleaning already used rooms and given to us, tv not working and ac cooling is very less. Overall- below average

I am staying with my family for 2 rooms. Worst experience in this stay listed below. 1. Rooms not prepared as per on time. 2. Ac not working. 3. Cot and bed full of termites occupied. 4. Toilets smelly and not working exhaust fan.

Overall management very poor when we reached. Reception counter was unattended. We moved to restuarant. No body available at counter, even after asking the staff. Bathroom small in size. Cockroach was seen on day one on arrival and next day morning also. Cleanliness is a big concern. Difficult to communicate due to language issue. Not all staff of the hotel communicate in english or hindi. Location is at the cliff. 100 metres away from the cliff. The beach is also very close to the hotel. Cliff is beautiful at night time. Hotel is not worth the value you pay.

Bed bucks were there in bed, difficult to sleep in night

Very bad experience. At night there was no electricity no one even started the generator, and the ac was leaking water inside the room. Don't book this hotel

Stay are near the sea but no lift are there. Service are delay.

Neat and clean room

Ac did not work and the washroom and comode was clogging. Room boy adamant on not providing another room in spite of the foul smell from the clogged bathroom. Had to argue with the manager before changing to a different room
