Shaity home stay is very nice from point view of hospitality and its location close to major tourist spots. We were received and treated very nicely by property owner. Their balcony and terrace view is awesome.

The host Timonda made sure of our comfort very well. The property is extremely beautiful and clean

No power backup after 11pm. We were charged 1000rs extra for electricity even after paying full amount in booking. The host were very hospitable and food was good. Would've given full rating if were not charged extra after paying everything.

Home stay needs updating wrt quality of mattress, towels and many more things. Home stay doesn't mean just a bed and towel. We need to climb to 3rd floor even 2nd floor rooms were vacant. However, owner help us to carry luggage we didn't dare to come down. Terrace they have decorated well for breakfast with low quality furniture. But to go one stair up, you have to go down one floor and go two floors up as they had used stairs of another building to go up. There is frequent electricity cuts and night 12 to 5 pm no electricity. They charged us for the petrol/diesel used in the generator. I feel it comes as part of facility and no extra charge should be paid by guest. Another guest who had booking with them they opted not to check in seeing stay on 3rd floor ( ground +2) good thing is host were pleasant.

The home stay situated 5 km away from mawlyllong with natural beauty however rooms were neat and clean, owners are very cooperative, nice view from honestly. This village is also very clean

In a village atmosphere, probably i can't expect more. The stay was comfortable and excellent hospitality.

Ideal homestay you would expect. Food is also good. Dont expect any restaurants in nohwet, this is a village & place is in very interior area. Homestay has very good view point. Terrace dinner and breakfast facility also there

Firstly it was a little hard to find the property as the name of the property on gate is just "shaiti homestay. It actually is a view point with all the mountains surrounding. We had a pleasant stay at pumpkin shaiti homestay. Food was awesome. Tea was perfect. Host are super couples, very friendly. A perfect homestay with neatest washroom. View from the balcony of room and terrace is awesome. Do try the dinner and breakfast at roof top enjoying nature. Thank you

Must stay at this place. Shailak and Timonda, the owners of the homestay were very humble and co-operative.

The worst part about this place is that this is not located in Mawlynnong but in Nowhet village which is 5 km away from Mawlynnong. The location and listing shows it Mawlynnong. There is very poor network and no electricity here and the charges are exorbitant considering the area. Strongly recommend not to book.

The View from the room window is awesome and hotel staff was very nice and cooperative.
